Hey ya'll! I'm fairly new to D&D, but have plenty of experience with roleplaying from both video games and real life. Looking to join a group of likeminded players and enjoy the thrill of D&D. I'm fairly flexible (except for schedules), so view the below more of guidelines than anything else. Edition: D&D 5e Preferred Campaigns: Longterm - as an avid RPer I find one shots and short term campaigns less enticing. I like to explore, develop my character(s) be that through combat or RP as well as interacting with the World I find myself in and that is difficult if the campaign only lasts one session and/or a few sessions. I'm down for homebrew but equally much by the books campaign. Schedules: Weekly games - however, I am already part of a group that plays on Tuesdays said day is out of the question (I still need to scratch that D&D itch). Likewise Saturdays are usually a day that I spend with family, partner or friends and I cannot guarantee attendance on said day. However, all other days suit me fine (I do work, so week days would have to be during the evening). Classes: I am a sucker for magic wielding classes and especially for the more support oriented ones (Cleric, Druid and Paladin) that said I am equally intrigued by Rogues, Rangers and Monks (less so for Fighter/Barbarian). I'd Prefer: I actually like starting out at level 1 and would prefer groups/campaigns that have not leveled/started yet and in case it becomes a regular group that we start at level 1. I'm not so adamant on this that I can't be swayed to join an in-progress group. Hopefully: We can make it a recurring group rather than saying our goodbyes at the end of a campaign. I like continuity and would much rather have a regular bunch of great people to play with than going through the grueling process of finding a new match on Roll20 each time.
