Specifically Referencing a Token ID

My apologies, this is my second question today and I feel like somewhat useless because of it. I'm attempting to create a Macro that can access a specific token (which is not associated with a character) in order to ready off a description via a Journal Command. What I'm running into is referencing said token with its specific Token ID. Thanks to some research on the forums, I discovered that you can whisper to yourself a specific Token ID via /gm w @{selected|token_id} - what I'm having difficult doing now is figuring out what to do with the information provided to me, which in this case, is the the Token ID -MEjH5A9Pwi2PGbuabka. I assumed I would place this in the spot where "selected" had been previously, but this does not appear to be correct. Could anyone assist?
You could try the GMNotes script which should do exactly what you're looking for.&nbsp; <a href="https://gist.github.com/keithcurtis1/139848e1832fd9fba4efc90c14ee1a60" rel="nofollow">https://gist.github.com/keithcurtis1/139848e1832fd9fba4efc90c14ee1a60</a> <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/5899495/stupid-roll20-tricks-and-some-clever-ones/?pageforid=6478871#post-6478871" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/5899495/stupid-roll20-tricks-and-some-clever-ones/?pageforid=6478871#post-6478871</a>

Could you post the text of your macro? That would help others figure out what might be going wrong.
Certainly. Let me show you an example of what I'm trying to do... The end goal is, essentially, be able to create a series of Journal Commands that will allow me to blast out any given room description from the dungeon's handout. Everything would be in a single place, with a given description a single button click away in the handout. Bar 1 would have the room description in it. First Attempt: /desc @{[Token ID Obtained from /gm w @{selected|token_id} Here]|bar1} This resulted in an error - my assumption was that I could replace the selected keyword with the token ID and it would work. Not the case. Eventually, it was actually my hope to be able to use this in conjunction with Supernotes and use that script to reference a specific token via a command, even if it wasn't selected - posting from the GM Notes is easier than putting it all in the bar, for example. But, at least with regard to Supernotes, I may be attempting to do something it's just not built to do.&nbsp;

Try @{selected|bar1}.
