Well, since you have a pro subscription and access to the api, this script can certainly do that: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7474530/script-call-for-testers-universal-chat-menus/?pagenum=1" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7474530/script-call-for-testers-universal-chat-menus/?pagenum=1</a> There are probably other options, but that is what I use. There are examples of how to set it up in that thread.
If you want token action buttons , then let me suggest Token Action Maker . You can make buttons for actions, traits, spells, checks, saves, or any combination thereof with a single command.
If you decide to go with Universal Chat Menus, since you are using the D&D 5th Edition by Roll20 Sheet, I would suggest the macros I posted for it, which can be found here .
Absolutely no scripting knowledge is required. UCM requires you to install the code yourself, which is just cut and paste and described excellently in the video linked below. Token Action Maker is a one-click install from the drop down on the API page. How to Install Roll20 API Scripts
I think there's an easier way: Run the character sheet macro...output should appear in chat. Go to the chat entry box...push the up arrow button on keyboard. This should cause the macro code to appear. Select all and copy. Go to "Abilities And Attributes" tab within character Under "Abilities" click "Add" Click the edit icon, paste the copied text. Click in the "show as token action" check box I hope I've addressed the question you intended and that this works for you! Allen
That will absolutely work, but doing it for 20 actions would be tedious. Once installing either of the scripts mentioned, it's literally one command. Since the OP is a Pro user, they should be able to get the primary benefit of a Pro subscription.
Oh my goodness this thing is magic!!! Thank you guys for your help. Literally typed in !ta over all the necessary tokens and its all done just like that. Never used Api scripts before. What are yall's favorites?
There are quite a few threads on that subject. The biggest workhorse is probably token-mod. It can write just about any setting to a token. After that, ChatSetAttr can do the same for a character. Those two can do quite a bit just by themselves.
