Artificer spells not shown

I'm trying to create an artificer in the character generator (I bought the expansion) but on the spell page for cantrips and level one it only says "Character:Spells Classes:Artificer   Level:0"  and Page not Found is displayed in the info block. It does the same thing for level one spells. Also, the only backgrounds I can get are Acolyte or the ones from the expansion pack. I'm using Chrome  Version 84.0.4147.125 (Official Build) (64-bit),  Windows 10 Pro

That's odd... do you also own the PHB? If you don't, that would explain the missing backgrounds. It might also explain the missing spells, as it might be assumed that the player also owns the PHB, where most of the Artificer spell list comes from. It's possible that none of the SRD spells have been linked to the Artificer spell list, at least in Charactermancer. If so, this is probably a bug - you should at least be able to pick the SRD spells on a full caster class, obviously. If you do own the PHB, something is very wrong - are there issues with the spell list for any other classes?

No, I don't own the PHB - I assumed that when the DM bought and set up the game the basic stuff would be there - the races and classes are. So, the free account is not so free? 

You should have access to all of the artificer spells that are in the SRD. The place to report this is in  D&D 5th Edition by Roll20 , the dev-monitored thread that handles the D&D 5th Edition by Roll20 Sheet and its interaction with the Compendium. To hedge your bet, file a  Help Center Request , since this is a licensed product. The backgrounds are behaving as expected. By purchasing a marketplace compendium expansion, you only get access to what is in the printed book (plus the SRD, where applicable). Finally, ask your DM what they have purchased. The creator of the game is the one whose compendium purchases determine what is available in the game. (Though I think your purchases are always available?)
