*Rain pings on the soldier's armor as he stands ready, gritted teeth and scimitar poised to strike down the lanced horseman who struggles to handle his mount as it slips attempting to charge through the muddied battlefield. Beads of sweat streak down the barbarian's face as carries a stoned dagger searching in the snow for a rare wild herb to help concoct an antidote for his companion who was poisoned by a dark fey's blade when they were ambushed on the road. Her muscles strain against the pilot's wheel of the ship as the sailor, using her wits and skills and rallying her crew, steers the ship safely through the freak storm that swept upon them due to the curse that haunts them and which they continue to search relief from. Welcome to Low-Fantasy Gaming* I am planning to start a bi-monthly (twice a month) fantasy RPG set in a Low-Fantasy setting using the Low-Fantasy Gaming Rules. Looking to start with four dedicated players who are focused on character development in a gritty world, know how to take initiative with their character, and want a serious tone in their gaming. Also, looking for players who are focused on collaborating in fleshings out a sandbox setting (yes, I have a ton of stuff fleshed out, but also want this to be a collaborative effort in developing the world). If you are not into a gritty setting where death lurks around the corner, when time and resource management can give you an edge or burden, and your actions have both short and long-lasting consequences then this game is **not** for you. Low-Fantasy Gaming is a D20, rulings over rules, GM & player collaboration based system that encourages thinking outside the box problem solving, dangerous yet rewarding unscaled encounters, and freedom in guiding your character's growth. If interested please reach out to me and tell me a little bit about yourself, experience, and style of playing TTRPGs, and what you are hoping to get out of the game. Thanks.
