I've noticed that the range stated when I drag ranged weapons says in most weapons 5 ft. when that is incorrect. I checked the shortbows (range 80/320 ft.), the light crossbows (range 80/320 ft.) and the longbows (150,600 ft.)
Both the Compendium and Attacks & Spellcasting entries are correct on mine for all of those weapons... which sheet are you using? Official? Have you tried in a different campaign?
I use the following settings: - Character Sheet Template: D&D 5e by Roll20 - Compendium System: D&D 5th Edition (Character Sheet Default) This an example of the range stated when i drag the items to a sheet, and i did test this on multiple games.
Confirmed. This is not acting properly. When dragged to a PC, ranged weapons fill out properly. When dragged to an NPC, they default to 5 ft. This should be posted to either a Help Center Request , or to the D&D 5th Edition by Roll20 feedback thread.
