[LFP] [DND 5e] The Magic School Of Hexside - Thursday Evening Campaign Next Game Will Be Thursday September 03 8:00PM EDT (1 week from now) Welcome to Emon, the Capitol of Tal’Dorei, a continent within the wonderful land of Exandria. The evil Vecna has just been defeated by a plucky group of adventurers, and now a new time of peace begins. A new school has opened within the capital, a college called Hexside. It plans to teach people about magic, and hopefully foster the next great group of adventurers. Many people applied to join, of all ages, of all backgrounds, but few were accepted. Luckily you were one of the ones accepted, as you now join Hexside’s college freshman class. Sessions will be weekly, and will take about three hours each. We’ll use both Discord and Roll20 to play. I hope that this’ll be a long term campaign. Our first session will be a session 0, to make characters, chat. If we have extra time, we’ll also have a mini adventure too. This game will involve a good amount of rp, and I hope to use your backstories to shape the story in a cool way. Although there'll definitely be some tough combat and some interesting exploration encounters. Character Creation; -Either point buy or standard array for stats -Level 2 Characters -Average hp after level one -Multiclassing and feats are okay -Any material from the officially published Wizards Of The Coast books is okay. Just if you’re using a background or species that’s not specifically for the Tal’dorei setting, or doesn’t nessicarily work with it, we can work together to re-flavor or change it to better fit it. -You can also use any of the following home-brew if you’d like; -The Blood Hunter -The Gunslinger (at later levels ofc) -The Blood Cleric from the Tal’Dorei Campaign Setting -The Rune Child (From TDCS) -Path Of The Juggernaut (From TDCS) -The Way Of The Cobalt Soul -You can use any of the feats or backgrounds from the Tal’dorei campaign setting book. -The Totem Barbarian Duck Option -College Of The Maestro Bard -If there’s any other hombrew or unearthed arcana you want to use, please just contact me with a link to it. -Every character gains the Magic Initiate feat for free at character creation. -Small elements form the Explorer’s Guide to Wildemont’s Heroic Chronicler will also be used. (Don’t worry about it for now, it’ll be explained throughout the session 0) Since you’re in a magic school you get to pick five of these classes to take; -Necromancy -Evocation -Abjuration -Dunamancy -Enchantment -Conjuration -Illusion -Transmutation -Divination -Potions and Herbalism -Healing Magic -History Of The Gods -History Of The Land -History Of Royalty -Defense and Weaponry -Monster Anatomy -Tactics And Battles ~Every student’s required to take Basic Magic 101, as an extra sixth class~ The class picking element is for flavor and to help shape the story’s direction, and your character too.
