[LFP] New DM Running Descent into Avernus

(IF YOU HAVE RAN OR PLAYED THIS ADVENTURE BEFORE PLEASE DO NOT JOIN) Descent into Avernus is an adventure about descending into Hell. It has been described as a Dante's Inferno crossed with Mad Max. Fair warning I am a NEW DM. I will do my best, but some things I may get wrong. My friend that will be joining you as a character is a very experienced DM so he will be able to answer any questions I won't. I am looking for 3 more players. Currently myself and the other player are both in our later 20s, however I won't exclude anyone for being younger or older as long as we are all chill with each other. The game will take place on Saturdays at 1 PM CST. Currently the plan is every week, but this may be changed to every other week if real life happens. A good mic will be required. While I know this excludes text based people and I am sorry for that, I feel that the sessions run smoother if everyone is able to hear everyone else. Hey my names Tom(25) from Canada. I've always been interested in playing D&D and finally pulled the trigger on picking up the books and accessories. Theeeen covid happened. Our small group decided it would be probably better to postpone local games for a bit and aren't huge about playing online.  So I was hoping to find a group of friendly people to tackle an adventure with and hopefully learn from the more experienced. I'm open to playing whatever class helps strengthen our team. Once I know what class is needed I can try to bring the character to life with some role playing and backstory. I just picked up a nice mic and am looking to get a webcam for the future. The only story I have played is the lost mines so I would be excited to try a new one. If you have an open spot though it would be greatly appreciated, its hard finding people willing to give new players a chance. I hope being new to the game isn't an issue. If it is I totally understand I wouldn't want to slow down the group.Cheers!
