I'm looking to add one more player to a campaign that I run Saturdays. If you are interested in a solid D&D campaign, check out the  looking for group page  for a campaign that is now one session in, The Quest for Gnoll Ledge (pun intended). My job is to create a compelling world for your character to flourish in. Your job is to create a memorable three dimensional protagonist in that world. If you are up to the challenge, apply at the above link.  Teaser You find yourself at the edge of the Black Rock Mountains, a sparsely inhabited area except for a few Riedenese walled settlements that harbor those daring enough to live east of the Last Watch Fort. Specifically, you are in Ardent’s Post, a small, walled outpost named after a heroic figure from the last Great War. There are only three types of people who come through town: vagabonds, lunatics, and treasure hunters in search of loot and relics left after The Fall of Old Llmat. Often those who make their way to the outpost are a combination of all three types - wayward crazies in search of depraved get rich quick schemes. Recently, a reward has been posted offering a hefty sum, 100 gp, to anyone willing to aid in the retrieval of what was stolen from a caravan that had been recently raided. Last Session Summary: Last week, the party left Ardent’s Keep setting out on an expedition to explore the Black Rock Mountains and maybe collect a few gnoll skulls along the way. Soon after leaving, the party began to make its way through the tar pits east of town, when suddenly one of the tar pits began to boil rapidly, spouting busts of flame. Out of the pit arose a flaming figure, an elemental salamander. The party expertly flanked the creature and took it out harvesting parts of its corpse for resources. Not to be outdone by the clever tactics of the previous combat. Flyn and Viviana began Operation Pull Tooth Out of Dragon Skull While Perched Precariously Over Boiling Tar . The operation ended in a resounding… faceplant. After retrieving a now slightly charred Viviana, the party decided that the best course of action was to move on. The party then traveled a couple days into the mountains where they came upon a large camp. Approaching, the party met with a couple members of the Ashanti Clan, a nomadic aasimar people, Heilril and Omo. The party bought a couple items and enquired around the camp. They eventually were requested to guard Ligim, the lead hunter, while on route to a meeting with the Barash Tribe. Arriving at the agreed upon meeting point, the party and the Ashanti hunters waited for the dragonborn to show up. After a couple hours of sitting around, Ligim grew worried and directed the group to begin to head towards where they thought the dragonborn encampment was. Following a path along a ravine, the group came upon a number of scattered bodies, the dragonborn hunters. Inspecting the damage done, the party came to realize they knew the creature that had attacked the dragonborn, a monstrosity serving Waverly. Suddenly, out of the noise of the wind flowing through the ravine, the party heard a loud gasp. Transparent blue specters began to emerge from crevices in the ravine walls... The party is at level 3. We are 4 sessions in. The group meets weekly from 9 AM - 1 PM EDT, Saturdays. Sessions tend to spill over timewise; however, they sometimes end earlier, basically between 12 AM - 2 PM. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $5 per session per person or $16 per 4 sessions per person. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
In case you are wondering, the party composition is Assassin Rogue, Path of the Berserker Barbarian, The Hexblade Warlock, Beast Master Ranger, and Circle of Dreams Druid. I don't much care for party comp, but I often get questions about it.
