[LFP][5e][Homebrew][+18][FREE][PST][Weekday] New – Low-Magic Homebrew Campaign looking for one more Player – Thursdays 12:00 p.m. (PST)

HELP WANTED! Citizens from the small village of Weedon are calling for the aid of capable adventurers! Something has taken up residence in the ruins of a nearby castle and foul play is suspected. Rumours of strange happenings have been circulating and it's up to you and your companions to investigate this abandoned fortress and put an end to the worries of the common folk. Hello everyone, We are looking for one more player to join us in our new D&D 5e campaign! The games will be held weekly on Thursdays, starting at 12:00 p.m. PST (noon) and run for about four to six hours. Games will be played on Roll20 with voice chat in a Discord server. Player characters will start at level three. The game itself will take place in a home-brew, low magic setting, with an emphasis on gritty realism in an effort to create a unique challenge for experienced players. As such, there will be class and race restrictions. There will be no full spell-casting classes (Bard, Cleric, Druid, Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard) as well as a restriction on races with innate spell-casting or similar features (Tieflings, Firbolgs, Githyanki, Dragonborn, Elves, are a few examples). However, all other sourcebook classes, subclasses, and races will be permitted, including the Artificer and Bloodhunter classes. Additionally, we will be using two large, mechanic-altering pieces of home-brew, the first of which is the Talent Trees home-brew by / u/Craios125  and  /u/ImFromNASA  that replaces the optional feats rules in chapter 6 of the Player's Handbook a link to which can be found  here . The second piece is The Complete Armorer's Handbook by heavyarms that introduces new weapons and armor and a better system for upgrading them. We highly encourage you to at least watch a short video review on these if you are not familiar with them before requesting to join to prevent any confusion. The DM and I have years of experience both as players and dungeon masters with D&D 5e, and are quite experienced with Roll20 and Discord. We welcome new and experienced players. Our play style is equal parts combat and role-play, and we enjoy cutting loose, and playing with people who don't mind some banter and a light-hearted experience. It's not uncommon for us to get a bit rowdy on occasion, so if you like to have a few drinks and joke around you'll be in good company. In your character description, tell me your favourite meal so I know you've read this far. So far, the other player characters are a Half-Elven Oath of the Ancients Paladin, a Forest Gnome, Order of the Lycan Blood Hunter, and a Human Path of the Zealot Barbarian. Hello, i would like to join, here is the following: 1) 20. 2) He\Him. 3) The session time is late enough, so all good on this front. 4) Been playing for about 1 year and 3 months already. 5) A mix of RP and Action. 6) Adventure, Drama, Comedy. 7) Raphael Krueger is an old (64) Half-Orc veteran fighter (Champion, very basic i know), and a soldier from his home city, where he was found on the countryside by a traveling merchant. Its a premade character, so i would have to modify the sheet a bit. Also i gonna use GSheet.

I like both combat and role-play a lot, so I prefer a mix of both. 6. I enjoy strategizing in combat and interacting with the other players and the world. 7. Idea one: Fynn, a young human hunter ranger who has lived in seclusion for most of his life, and has now left his home in the woods to hunt the beast that killed his mentor. He is also trying to hide from his uncle, who killed Fynn's Parents and younger brother when Fynn was five. Idea two: Erik Callan, a human champion fighter, who has recently left his mother's ship to make a name for himself, instead of being overshadowed by his mother's achievements. Also, my favourite food is lasagna.

I like to see how players come up with different answers to different situations example a player defeated a flame skull by hugging it and telling it was loved and it could let go she rolled a nat20 7.
