[LFG] Newbie Friendly, New DM Running League of Legends Homebrew

Hello! My name is Yuls and I'm a new'ish DM trying to branch out and play with a roster of new people who are familiar with League of Legends and have a deep appreciation of role-playing in a wondrous Homebrew setting. Times are very flexible and sessions will run anywhere from 2 to 5 hours long. You do not have to be familiar with League of Legends lore to play. This might actually be preferred to prevent meta knowledge, as my campaign is heavily steeped in the canonical lore of Runeterra (the world of League of Legends). You will not be playing existing LoL characters so you do not have to be familiar with them, either. I am ideally searching for 3-4 players. I want to keep a small group so I can focus on everyone's characters individually. I am a fairly new DM (been around a year or so since I started DM'ing) and am learning how to play 5E, though I have played with friends for around 4 years. I would love if you are new to DnD yourself because playing with experienced players makes me anxious at times. I am very much a DM that enjoys story-telling and character development over combat optimization, so if you are looking for a combat-heavy, mechanical game, I might not be the DM for you!  I plan to run my games on Discord so a mic is required but webcam is not. You will need to have access to Roll20 to enter complicated combat, but we will most likely be using theatre of mind for smaller encounters. My campaign is very LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming of anyone who is nice and open-minded. I would prefer that you are over 18+ just because of some themes in the game that might be M rated. I would love to have dedicated players who do not flake. We will run games once a game, or once every two weeks depending on people's availability. I would prefer to make this a long-term campaign. This is absolutely FREE . If you are interested, please post here briefly introducing yourself!

Over 18?: Yup Experience:  5ish years on and off as well as other ttrpgs. I've dmed, and I get that DMing is not easy and nobody is perfect. I'm quite confident in my roleplay ability and I do voices and accents, but I don't expect anyone else to do the same. I like to dive into the characters i play and I try my best to view things through their eyes and their past experiences but I'm still able to separate myself from the character. I've been looking for another campaign to participate in and I've always been interested in the lore behind Runeterra. League of Legends Experience: I know that DnD Beyond had a partnership with League of Legends and published Legends of Runeterra: Dark Tides of Bilgewater. They took it down, but the subclasses live on somewhere. I tried to play LoL, but shortly discovered that MOBAs aren't my thing to play, but to watch it is pretty cool. I don't know too much of the lore within the vast LoL universe, but I am familiar with bits and pieces of the lore from specific characters that I was interested in such as Akali, Yasuo, Yone, Twisted Fate, and Kindred, but not enough to answer trivia haha. My girlfriend used to play League and she got me into at least following Riot related things like their music videos and their upcoming anime which i'm excited for. Her mains are Ahri and Sona. I have been interested in learning more about Runeterra though. K/DA is amazing. I loved Akali in it. Availability:  EST time. I currently play in a campaign on Saturdays at 5pm EST. I'm available Fridays at 6ish EST and all day on Sundays. My discord thingy is: Wolfbare#3558
Hi! I am over 18 and completely new to playing DnD, only done a few casual sessions with some work friends, but have been interested for a long time! I've played League of Legends off and on since beta but I absolutely adore the lore overhaul they've done and have stayed up to date with that as well as play Legends of Runeterra which focuses heavily on worldbuilding even further. I hate the idea of metagaming though so that shouldn't be an issue. CST timezone and my schedule is completely clear at the moment aside from Saturday at 9PM CST. Discord is BaconSenpai#8410
