Shadow of the Crimson Turtle

"In point of fact, Drael, I was arrested."   Vin discusses at Drael, but is ignored and can't get a word in edgewise.  As Drael storms off, Vin swears , "Bloody hell. The gorram cops were more cool headed about the damn thing."   Vin sighs and breathes out a deep long breath trying to avoid yelling back at his partner.  Vin looks at the ramp and hits the retraction button as Nils brings his little droid inside.  He rolls his eyes, and holds his tongue.  Seeing that Ceph is a little more calm, he asks,  "So what happened after y'all left?  I had to ditch the comm to avoid tying you up if things went south."
Sovia watches the exchange with curiosity. "It was most wise to bring back his possessions, they may well have a clue as to his affiliation. Particularly his comlink, if you can find that? Perhaps Nils could trace the last few communications and we can find exactly where his master was located." She moves closer and looks at the body.  "May I?" With Vin's permission she inspects the body. In my visions, he was clearly trained in the force, perhaps he has a mark of who trained him or his affiliations or order."
"Well, your hunch was right. Had this on him."   Vin reaches into his inner pocket and draws the 27 cm cylindrical hilt from its hiding spot.  His urge to brag must have finally trumped his drive to hide it.  "Take a look," Vin spins the hilt in his hand presenting it to Sovia.  "I want it back when you done though."
Sovia takes the saber, holding it in her hands. She looks at the design, the crystal, along with any marks on any other equipment looking for signs of any affiliation to known orders. Finally she ignites the saber, looking at the colour and trying to work out where it was likely made and under who's instruction.
The lightsaber ignites and its blade is a deep, vibrant blue. Its design is tapered and flowing, with lots of circles and few sharp edges.
Lebenha, feeling really uncomfortable with all that tries to recognize if that design belonged to anyone at the Order that she might known. That Cerean was suppousedly to be a terrorist, but she was having a hard time trying to understand why a member of the Jedi would be a terrorist. And even if he was, and the Dark Side had taken into him, they had no confirmation of that, and there were so few of them left.
"Interesting. I had expected something else. I do not recognise the design. But perhaps... Echoes remain..."

"Its from the last war.  Seen plenty of 'em."  Vin says with some dismissal.  He really didn't see the significance.   And really wasn't enjoying that look from Leb.
" A lot can change over the years, heroes become villains all the time, I guess villains can become heroes too." Drael comments from the other side of the now open doorway. "Or maybe we got it wrong and Vin just iced a sworn protector of the free people of the galaxy..."
"Like hell I did. Dat rat bastard was dirty as fuck."   Vin now seeing Drael back, "And don't get all cross like I didn't tell you."   Vin points down to the front landing gear through the ship. "I stood outside with you not five hours ago next to the landing strut and told you I wasn't gonna let this fucker off.  Y'all had a plan and I was good with that.  Then it didn't work, and that was it.  No sir.  Not happening."   Vin was venting, "I stopped answering the comm cause I ditched the fockin' thing so if for some reason my plan didn't work, your bloody flyboy ass wouldn't be going down with me."   Vin turned his head, "You take risks in war, Drael." He quiets his tirade, "Sometimes they don't pay off.  You have to be ready for that."
" The war is over Vin, if you say he deserved it then I'm fine with that.  Drael turns back to the cockpit " Thanks for thinking of my flyboy ass, just remember I would have had your back." The door shuts as he disappears out of sight.
Vin realizes his mistake, and the point Drael is making. 'Was the war over, though?  It never really felt like it.  It changed, sides changed, but life in the universe; indeed to be alive was itself a war.'   He knew that was not what his friend was making, and even though he knew Drael couldn't hear it, he said aloud, "Sorry, Drael."   There was resoluteness, but understanding in his voice.   It wasn't going to be a tearful apology, just an acknowledgement.  Enough tears had been shed today. With a bit of embitterment, "Can one of you tell, Drael to light this candle?  I need some sleep.  You two can muck with that as long as you want."   Part of him knew he hurt Drael, and that side regretted this whole thing now.  He didn't wait for acknowledgement, thanks, or questions now.  'None of it mattered again.'  He walked through his door and hit the close button, and the lock.  Only taking another step to reach the bed, and flop to the mattress.
Lebenha let Vin and Drael vent the air and exhales trying to keep heself centered.  " It is, indeed, a Jedi lightsaber I must admit that I would have had more intel before taking this course of action... but what is done is done. Perhaps with the comlink we could track his partner and obtain the answers we need from him. But I feel that we must move quickly for that, before he is gone and we lost the trail. Drael, do you think you could pull of some kind of trick to take him here? Perhaps make him believe that his partner has hired us to take them to their destination as we tried with the cerean? We need to locate this terrorist if we are going to clean our names are be able to come back to the Station."
"Fuckin NICE!" Ceph exclaims at the initial reveal, but he becomes quiet as the jedis mull over the lightsaber and tensions raise between Drael and Vin. He holds the collected compad, and his breath, until the flyboy and the soldier have both run off. "Well, hopefully they'll kiss and make up sooner than later." he says, low enough that only those remaining can hear. "We do need to move quickly," he says, turning to Lebenha, "But we already know where the guy's partner is headed: Jedha. We pushed our luck here and we're lucky it paid off. Nils should crack this thing open, but I don't think we should attempt another ambush 'til we're outta here."
Lebenha nods to Ceph's words. "Then we should hurry and try to get to Jedha before he does..."
"Lebenha, there is something we can try. Sit in meditation with me. There is an ability in the force that can let you sense echoes from an object, acts it carried out with it's wielder, focus on the lightsaber, perhaps we will rest it on some of his clothes, and maybe we can see some of his work, or gain insight as to why he would carry out such an attack." Sovia sits cross legged on the floor, her unusual joints poking out beneath her cloak. "The rest of you may proceed with takeoff if you wish, it will not interrupt us."
Nils, still holding the disabled droid, watches Vin and Drael's disagreement with interest. Privately, he was pleased at Vin's unilateral action - having one less Jedi to worry about, particularly one that had seen his face, was a weight off his mind - though it did reinforce his opinion that this was clearly not someone to mess with. The revelation that the attacker was a Jedi didn't mean much to him - the distinction between the different types of force users had always seemed slightly academic, as it was common knowledge that they were all equally dangerous and unpredictable. And speaking of unpredictable, Sovia now seemed to be putting on some sort of séance? His desire to keep his distance from Sovia and Leb's ritual slightly outweighing his desire to not turn his back on it, he puts the droid down in a corner of the cargo bay and heads forward to the cockpit. The door slides open to reveal Drael's back. The pilot doesn't turn around as Nils walks in. Unsure how to broach the topic of taking off given Drael's possible emotional state, he awkwardly clears his throat and hesitantly opts for a neutral, "So. Um." A moment of silence passes. "How about that then, hey?"
Sovia settles down to meditate on the lightsaber and images and sounds from events far away through time and space begin to drift towards Sovia as echoes through the Force. She sees Chicri Qui-Xot meditating on the same lightsaber on Dantooine. He fights the Sith with this lightsaber in the Galactic War and defends the Jedi order against those infected by Sarcus Qel Droma's nanite virus. He covers the retreat of refugees in the face of the J-droid assault and brings younglings to safety on an RBS city station... She feels fear, which turns to anger. He threatens an RBS representative with his lightsaber. He demands to know where the younglings are. Anger hardens to hate and the warm air of Jehda is dry in her lungs as he offers his saber to the man in the grey hood.

" Yeah, how about that ." Drael's voice is flat and emotionless as he performs the pre-flight checks and prepping the hyperdrive. "You need anything else Nils, or are you just here to share your sparkling banter?"  A few seconds pass and the pilot stops and runs a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry, I'm pissed off with Vin,, not you. And I'm not even really that pissed off with him either, he just scared me taling a stupid risk without me. Still I obviously didn't give him enough credit for his skills, he killed a jedi on his own and walked away from it. Can't say I expected that. Did I see you with a droid earlier, what are you doing with it? I was thinking about picking up a droid to help out round here, I mean you never know right? Then I was thinking maybe a drone would be better, something we could send in ahead if we do this salvage job to check out the ship. You seem good with this sort of stuff maybe you could help out if I get one..." Drael's stream of consciousness style of talking seems to indicate that he is getting back to normal.
Lebenha opens her eyes, breaking the connection with Sovia and what they both had shared in her vision.  Her eyes widen, her face pale.  "What... what have we done?" she mutters realizing that they had been looking to the whole thing from the wrong angle all the time. Chicri Qui-Xot could had lost his way but... in her stomach she felt the same fear that the former jedi felt. It was like the floor of the ship dissapeared under her.  "The... the younglins... I... I've made the same..."  She stands and runs back to the cockpit. "I need to contact Endor Station. NOW!" she yells, her voice trembling.
"Patience Lebenha. What will come will come. Act decisively with consideration, not passion." She calls out, though she knows it is too late as the emotion Wells up in the younger jedi.
In the cockpit with Drael, Nils nods knowingly. "Yes, it's OK. He took a big risk without telling his friend. I can see you'd be upset, even if it turned out OK this time. Does he normally do that sort of thing? And yes, I... ah... found it by the ship. It's disabled at the moment, but I want to do some research on a virus that seems to be infecting the cleaning droids here, hopefully the port authority won't mind... or notice... if we borrow it for a bit. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think everyone's ready for us to leave, maybe the sooner the better, so..." He's interrupted as a clearly agitated Lebenha rushes into the cockpit, trailed by Sovia's unheeded call for calm from the cargo bay. "I need to contact Endor Station. NOW!" she yells, her voice trembling. "Leb! What's the matter?" Nils asks, alarmed that three of the crew now seem to be emotionally unstable.

Vin was emotionally tired. He had been laying on the bed - 25 minutes - looking at the chronometer.  The engines hadn't shifted, the dampeners hadn't kicked in, and now Leb was yelling about something again. 'I swear if its about those bloody younglings again.'  She had never explained it other that she was looking for some people.  Vin REALLY didn't want to get up though. Vin, despite this, got up and clicked the comm relay to the cockpit; he was not up to a face-to-face. "Drael we need to be space side like 20 minutes ago, mate."   When there was silence in reply, Vin decided to be forthright, "Look D, I meant to tell you, but our argument threw me off.  I know we ain't on great terms, but they had to scan my old bounty ID, and if for some reason they were able to track me at all.  That risks Obrim.  So please, can we bloody well get the fuck into space?"  There is a measured amount of stress and panic in his voice.

"That would have been good to know as you walked in the door, buddy,  but at least you are telling me now. Ladies and gentlemen we will be leaving a quickly as possible. Please stow all your belongings in the overhead storage compartments and secure any stolen droids you happen to be in possession of. We are out of here." Drael's agile fingers fly over the controls as he preps the ship for takeoff, for all the obvious tension in his voice he moves with the practised skill of someone used to living on the edge. "Nils, my space pirate buddy, go get your stuff done, I can take it from here. Folks if we are trying to contact Endor Station we need to get to the hyperspace comm buoy and patch in. Is that the plan or not otherwise will someone make a damn decision and give your friendly pilot a destination, right now!"
"To Jedha!" Ceph says, mustering as much cool headed confidence as he can in the face of such high tensions. "We can find a buoy on the way. Leb, chill, the younglings will be fine. Endor station isn't gonna get hit twice."
Leb tries to calm down as Drael starts the engines of the ship and they take off heading to the space. She doesn’t succeed and she almost could hear her master voice proclaiming her disappointment.  As the ship takes off she tries to explain and as she is verbalizing it the weight of the facts really starts to set down.  “Listen all “ she makes sure the comm is open so everyone in the ship can hear her “ We’ve seen the Cerean as a former Jedi, he was very much like me or the knights that were with me. He managed to bring some younglins to another CBS station and then... they took them away... he was angry he... I think he was fighting the CBS trying to get back the kids. Don’t you understand? I’ve done the same! They all died so we could escape and reach the safety of Endor Station... I... I need to know if the young kings are ok, I’ve been delaying this so they cannot track us but I must contact Captain Tren and make sure they are ok. “ she thinks for a moment “What if the whole incriminating plot on the attacks were meant to take me down so I cannot interfere as he did? Drael please, I need to reach for him or the Station and try to speak with the young ones. “  All the feelings that she had been fighting during the hyperspace trip to Bakura menace to overflow her right now. The sorrow for the lost of her friends, the guilt for having left them to die, the overwhelming responsibility to take care of the younglins and the fear that something happened to them. The fear of realizing that she wasn’t good enough. She could felt her heart racing in her chest and tried to reach into the Force for calm.
Drael's hands hovers over the control, a few moments pass. He mutters to himself "I guess she is technically the captain, let's just hope I don't live to regret this, or die regretting it more importantly." Flicking more switches and powering the engines accordingly he pushes the ship on, locating the comm buoy and setting a course to it. " Nils, I might need a little help with the buoy, you ok to do that?"

Vin had just settled back in the bunk hearing the engines begin purring, and then Leb's voice came on the speaker.  'Why the fuck can I not catch a break?'  He takes a breath and eyes his blaster resting in its holster on the wall.  'She's gone loony - grasping at straws and starting to sound desperate,' he thinks to himself.  His face contorts into a smirk, 'Bah, Sovia and Drael can go fuckin' kill her if she goes crazy.'  Vin playfully pretends to use the force to draw his blaster, not wanting to move from his moment of comfort.  With the mystical summoning a failure, he instead tries to make himself to not worry about it.
Ceph looks impatient but he is trying his best to be understanding. “Do we really need to contact the station though? Can’t one of you check on them with the force or something? I... well I maybe could. I’m starting to run on fumes but tomorrow I think I could trigger one of those visions.”
"It is difficult to reach out and sense those you are unfamiliar with. Lebenha knows these younglings, but look at her. She is in no state to center herself and reach out through the force across such distances. She must ride this wave," Sovia speaks softly to Ceph. "If you wanted to know more of these visions I could train you. The force is a powerful tool, but the more delicate your use of it, the more you can gain from it. Something neither the Jedi, nor the Sith understand. The power and truth in the teachings of the other."
Nils nods. "You hear that, Ceph? Neither the Jedi nor the Sith understand. You don't want to be messing around with the Force, it's a slippery slope. Also the hyperspace relays are just on standard frequencies so you can send a message whenever you want, Leb." He reaches over to the comms panel and pulls up the frequency routing for Endor station. " No Force required, hey?"

"Make it quick Leb, we need to leave yesterday ." Drael angles the ship into position for his pre planned hyper space jump, just needing the jedi to finish before completing the process. "Nils, you staying up here? If you do, I'm going to give you jobs." The pilot turns to his companion in the cockpit, with a smile looking relaxed and at ease, feeling that the danger is almost passed.
"Thank you" says Leb to Drael and Nils as they help her contacting her friend.  "Captain Tren this is Amh Gallet. Do you copy? "  She is in such a distress that hadn't thought in easy here companions by telling them that they used kind of code language to avoid interference for the J-droids, now it could be useful to get them tracked.
After a short delay, the comm-line crackles to life. "Copy that, Amh Gallet. We're still grounded here for the moment due to continuing life support glitches. Techs are continuing to work on the problem. You find what you were looking for?"
"Unfortunately not yet... Do you have enough coolant for the hiperdrive once the techs finish with that glitches?" Leb's heart races on her chest. She hopes to hear an affirmative answer to that question.
"We used up our last when we arrived on the station and haven't refilled since." There's a pause and then Miles adds. "I'll keep you posted."
"Are we done here Leb, can I get us into hyperdrive now?" Drael senses that the coded interchange is essentially over . "I hope everything is alright on Endor."
Lebenha has to make an effort for ther voice to sound normal when he replied.  "Fine, me too, take care Gallet out." She doesn't reply to Drael inmediatly, her hand still on the comm. When she speaks again her voice sounds more calm that the rest at the cockpit could have expected.  "They have taken them. Tren doesn't know where they are. I could try to contact the station authorities but that could lead them to us... to you... and I wouldn't risk that. Perhaps the whole framing us for the bombing was to give them an excuse to kill me. If that's true I am truly sorry to had get you involved. We... I... there is only me now..." she corrects herslef " thought that they would be safe at the Endor station. I promised them that they will be safe there, and they had taken them away. " she quiets and her shoulders go down. After a moment she gets up but keep her head down.  "Excuse me I'll be in my quarters."  She enters her cabin and tries to relax but the tourmoil in her chest is too big. She screams and some things that were on the table fall to the ground, but that doesn't liberate all the frustration and fear and anger she is feeling.  She sit, crossing her legs and tries to concentrate and focus.  She can hear the voice of her Master  "You cannot hope not to feel anger or fear anymore, do not try to block that feelings. Instead recognize them, accept them as what they are, temporal things, and let them pass through you, like a gust of warm heat in the desert... do not hold to them, do not embrace them, or they will hold you and dominate your life. That is the path to the Dark Side."  Still the fear for the well beign of the kids were there, the anger for her being so naive, so stupid to trust that people, the rage against them for taking them, she could imagine the fear and confusion of the younglins.  She opened her eyes, and some pieces of equipment that had been floating around her drop to the floor suddenly. She paid no attention to them.  No, that wasn't working either.  "If everything fails, then practice with your lightsaber until you feel exhausted, that would help to calm your mind..."  She left her cabin and went to the cargo hold, towards the section that she had been using on their trip to Bakura for practice,  but now, with the cargo hold empty, there were even more space.  "Good" she thought " I will need it".  She ignited her lightsaber and let the familiar humming and smell of ozone surround her. Then, with her eyes closed, started to practie all the forms she knew. She started with the oldest one, Shii-cho and quiclly progressed to Makashi. She repeated Makashi forms twice. Then she changed to Soresu, and make this forms three times. This form has been the one that she had used the most lately to repel the J-droids attacks.  Without stopping she started the candeces of Ataru and a more agressive form of Shien, teached to her by her Master, known as Djem So.  After that, she progressed towards Niman, regaining some calm and relaxing on its more conservative movements. Then, for the first time in minutes, she stopped.  She pondered if in her actual state of mind she could risk practicing the techniques that her Master taught her when the J-droids started their crusade against the Jedi and Force-Users, but she rejected her doubts. If she had to keep the Dark Side away she cannot fear it.  The last series of movements where clearly more agressive, her expression changed from the more calm and focused to a more intense one, her eyes still closed, seeing with her mind eye the enemies and practicing the parrys and attacks of the last form, Juyo.  When she finish, almost an hour after she first inginted her lightsaber, she felt better, more focused and was certanly panting due to the effort.  She started again from the begining.
The soft hiss of hydraulics and the whine of electric motors signal the the Kraken's readiness for take-off. With a deep thrum the repulsors take the freighter off the ground and out through the magcon field into the sky. The ship passes into orbit unchallenged and a few minutes later is headed for the edge of the system where they can safely jump to lightspeed.
Finally hearing the engine's hum, Vin finally relaxes releasing that last bit of tension from the day and drifts off to sleep.
Once again, as they approach their destination, Sovia begins to look forward into the future, looking to see their reception upon landing.
Nils relaxes. Not a lot, but a little. The positives - they were, for the moment, out of the reach of any retribution from the Cerean's companion, mysterious viruses, or planetary governments questioning his provenance. The negatives - for the next few days he was trapped on a ship with more force-users than non-force-users, and they were heading to a planet sacred to force-users to track down some violent force-users. Actually, when he thought about it like that... Nils unrelaxes. To take his mind off things, he heads aft to the engineering section and hefts the disabled cleaning droid onto the work surface. He'd wanted to spend this time analyzing the J-virus, but the droid idea he'd had just before they left seemed more important - the sooner he could find a proper home for the contents of the sealed metal case currently hidden under the decking plates of his cabin, the better. Pulling a hydrospanner from the ship's tool drawer to replace the one they'd thrown down the passenger transport's engine nacelle, he starts dismantling the droid. What he wanted to do wasn't complex per se but it definitely wasn't a factory-standard modification - there was a chance the ship wouldn't even have all the parts he needed, but he could make a start.
Ceph keeps to himself for the rest of the day after they take off. He realizes that while his presence functions like glue for this rag-tag group, that unity is tenuous at best. This new crew is a long way off from the camaraderie he'd had with the Akks what seems like a lifetime ago. Their purpose was simple: get rich or die trying, but at least they'd shared a common goal. Things aboard the Kraken are so disparate. Vin is volatile and unpredictable, Lebenha is zealous and clearly having some existential crisis, Drael and Sovia seem pretty level headed at least but how long could they temper the other two?  In truth Nils is the only one Ceph feels like he can trust, so it's no wonder that the eccentric tech-wizard is the first one Ceph gravitates to while on their way to Jedha. "Hey Nils! How's it goin bud?" he says as he sticks his tentacled head into the engineering room. His eyes glance over the disassembled droid on the table curiously. "So uh, what's your plan for this guy?"
"Ah! Ceph! Hello!" replies Nils, looking up from the droid's innards. "Yes! Just having a poke around inside so I know what sort of hardware baseline they use then I'll get it back online. Maybe it can keep the ship clean or something, hey?" Which was all true. And with any luck, nobody else onboard would be interested or technically adept enough to spot the additions he was planning to make when he reassembled it. "How are you? Ever been to Jedha before? Don't know much about it myself, just that it's got some sort of history with force users. You especially should keep your wits about you if you think you're sensitive. Slippery slope, it starts with the visions and before you know it you're cutting people's arms off and mind controlling innocents to do your bidding. Dangerous stuff... addictive probably, so watch out, hey?" Nils raises his eyebrows earnestly at Ceph before continuing. "Anyway, once we're there - will you be be able to get in contact with your boss again, find out what his leads are? And he said something about getting some more money on Jedha, right?"
Ceph nods along with a bemused smile. "That would be great! Maybe you can program it to make cocktails." He leans back against the wall as his thoughts shift to their destination. "Nah I've never been to Jedha. Don't know much about it either but yeah, I guess it's like a historical place. Jed ha,  Jed i, gotta be some connection, right?" he says with a wink. "Maybe they have some kinda Force Test there and I can figure out if I really am sensitive, or if I'm just lucky. Honestly the mind control would be cool, even just to make our bounty hunter friend calm down sometimes." As he processes the conversation his smile falters slightly. If he really is force sensitive, that's just another target on the Kraken's back and they are already running out of room for those. "There is money," he says, face still tense for a moment before his eyes refocus and his carefree look returns. "Just gotta patch in to a comm buoy once we get there. Not sure how Mr. Axios will take the news that the Cerean's dead, but he'll probably be happy to know we're still hot on the trail. Oh, on that note," he produces the acquired comm pad and hands it out to Nils. "When you get a chance, think you can crack this open?"
"Mind controlling innoncents to do our bidding? " says Lebenha joining them. She was determined not to pass this journey like a hermit like the last one. "That's what do you think the Jedi do? " she sits and looks at Nils and Ceph intensely for a few seconds. "How do you know then that you are going to Jedha because you decided to do and not because it's what Sovia or me really want?" she looked at the others eyes for a few seconds and start laughing. " You should see your faces! hahahaha we used to play this back in the Academy..." she serves herself some hot beverage and adds " not you worry guys that's not the way it works and it only works on those of weak mind... you are ok " she smiles " that's a compliment " she adds with a wink.  "Now... more seriously if you think you are Force-sensitive Ceph you should get some training. Even if you don't acknowledge it, the Dark Side is always there and it could be dangerous... do you want me to help you determine if you are Force-sensitive and give you some first lessons? You know... before you end chopping other's limbs away..."
Ceph isn’t surprised by Lebenha, in fact he now realizes that he sensed her coming a moment before she appeared. Her line of questioning does throw him off guard though, and he’s worried he’s offended her until she relinquishes the joke. “Uhm, yeah I guess that would be pretty helpful actually. I don’t know shit about the force.”

Leb nods.  "First of all you must forget everything you've heard about the Force or the Jedi. Sure, throught the Force those sensitive to it are capable of incredible things, but it's better for you to approach this learning without any preconceptions. The Force is an energy field created by all living things in the Universe. It surround us, penetrate us, and binds the Galaxy together. By opening yourself to it you are allowing it to guide your actions. To do this you must learn how to feel it. Then you must learn how to control yourself, so you will work in consonance with it, in balance. Everything is about balance. Last, but no least, you'll learn how to alter part of it, so you could affect the world around you. " when she says this her hot cup raises on its own from the table and descens again.  "Now, you must understand two things. Two very important things. First is that the Jedi training take years. Younglings are teached during years this basics so they can tap into the Force as natural and easily as you breath. Don't worry, I feel that you are more than capable of doing it but be preapred for a long time of practice and don't feel discouraged. The other thing you must be aware always, always, not only when you use the Force is the dark side. As I said is all about balance. If there is Light, there is Dark. Be aware of the Dark Side. Fear, anger, agression... those feelings lead to it. And it's a path full of suffering. Suffering of others but also for those who walk it," she puts a hand on Ceph's hand,  "the Dark Side is always there, you don't... fight... that's a fight you will eventually lose. You stay balanced, calm, and that way you can choose not to follow that path, no matter how easy it seems, no matter how seductive it could be. You just don't choose to do it, or you will be lost... " she looks to him with her golen eyes. " Do you understand? "
Ceph gives her a disconcerted look, almost wanting to pull his hand away. All this talk of balance and dedication and avoiding the Dark Side is a lot to take in, and not something Ceph has ever really thought of before. "Uh huh. Look, no offense Lebenha, but I'm not really trying to be a Jedi. That's not my bag. Besides I'm already pretty level headed, you don't have to worry about me running off and becoming a Sith lord or whatever. I just wanna know what's going on with these visions and maybe learn to hone it a little better."
Lebenha smiles to Ceph. "I know Ceph, I am not trying to turn you into a Jedi. Don't get me wrong but you... are just better suited for other path. But this is something that it's part of you, whenever you want it or don't. Don't you worry " she taps his hand " you'll catch it in time. As for the visions... the Force speak to us, throught it we can see things that were, things that are and things that may come to be.
