[D&D 5e] Value of PHB + Xanathar's for Existing Owner Elsewhere?

So, basically, I own all the D&D Content that is available digitally elsewhere, BUT I understand there are effectively advantages to owning the PHB at the least (I think).  What I'm curious about is if there's really anything beyond the new classes within Xanathar's that would make it worthwhile for picking up, and I mean in regards to how it applies to the functionality of building characters and otherwise making module creation easier?  Money is a wee bit tight, so I lean towards just the PHB, but I'd like to double check prior to feeling really dumb for missing something obvious.  Thanks in advance, I'm a weak person sometimes. Quick Edit: I also own 'Curse of Strahd,' and various other marketplace items, I just prefer to avoid duplicating purchases where possible.  And I'm a pro subscriber so I'm not against supporting the platform.

Mostly, Xanathar's will get you the new classes and spells, compendium- and charactermancer-ready. There's a lot of rules text and such that you get, but if you have the paper version or digital versions from another licencor, and prefer looking things up that way, then yeah, that's the main benefit.
The value in PHB and XGE is mainly convenience when creating/upleveling characters, a single search accross the rules and adding items or spells to PCs and NPCs from the compendium; and sharing information in the chat.
