File uploader issues

When i'm trying to upload files, I just see a grey bar for each item added with no indication of upload progress or any messages about the upload (uploading, complete, errors etc). I've tried jpg, gif and mp4 files all with the same results. I can't tell if my files have uploaded properly or errored and would be nice to see this fixed. I've tested this in the latest versions of both Chrome and Firefox with the same result

One thing that got me is that would happen if the file size was too big. Yes it would be nice if they told you the max file size and give you an error message for your file being to big (or the reason for other errors).

I've never had the progress bar do anything. I just wait for it to appear in the recent uploads section of the library.
