Call of Cthulhu 7e - How Does Bonus/Penalty Work?

The character sheet is pretty spectacular, but I haven't been able to figure out how to use the Bonus/Penalty link on the roll. I put in a number, expecting it to be asking for the number of bonus or penalty dice that I am trying to roll, and it doesn't seem to do anything. It generates a lovely new result box with no info in it except the character's name.

Hi Matthew, This is, unfortunately, a bug with the sheet. But one that we ought to have a fix for coming out for very shortly. If you toggle the sheet to roll only a single bonus/penalty dice from the settings panel, you will at least get some response. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience!
