We are an established group of five players who have been
questing together for nearly three years. We have just wrapped up a campaign
and we’re looking for something new with someone new and we’re seeking a new Professional
DM / GM interested in taking us on.
Our previous experiences have given us a sense of what we
really enjoy in a game and we have put together some desirable elements below.
Not to attempt to stifle any potential DM’s creativity, but rather for the sake
of clarity of expectations and to try to find the right fit between group and
DM.
Please have a look if you are a potential DM and let us know
if you are interested in talking with us more.
Desirable Game Elements
· A Professional DM · A good game balance of the three pillars with a
big focus on RP and Character Development and integration of backgrounds / bios
but with exploration and rich, inventive combat also. · A Medium to High-Magic Setting · A Semi-Serialized Arc with episodic quests and a
loose overarching storyline with recurring elements (NPCs, bad guys, locations,
etc.) that can build up over time and evoke a variety of genres (action,
adventure, comedy, intrigue, noir, horror, etc.). · A coastal, city-based campaign setting with a home
base where we can develop and affect our surroundings and circumstances.
Hopefully, such a setting (Waterdeep or something like it) would provide great
opportunities for lots of doings in the city and the ability to hop on a boat
or get on the road as needed. · A DM supportive of player-brewed side quests,
abilities, spells, items, etc. (within reason of course!) ·
(This may be premature, but perhaps a willingness
to allow character refactor based on the Tasha’s Cauldron book due Nov 2020
which may greatly affect the character creation options).
Nothing here is set in stone, but rather is a guide for the
kind of game and experience we’re interested in. We are ready and willing
to consider anything an interested DM has in mind.
Happy to discuss paid sessions also.
Players are in Eastern Time Zone.
