My name is Kent and I'm looking to run a one shot this Saturday September 12th at 5 PM EST. The game will last around 4 hours. My goal is to run the players through a home brewed adventure in order to teach newer players the ropes of 5th edition and TTRPGs in general. A bit about the world * Low Magic (spell casters are still playable characters, a majority of the population does not use magic or magic items in their daily lives. Magical healing is expensive/rare and Resurrection is non-existent.) * Dark, Gritty tones (This isn't a light-hearted, Tolkien-style save the world adventure where the good guys always triumph. The one shot and the game itself are going to be dark and gritty, with characters facing almost insolvable moral dilemmas where the lines between good and evil are blurred. * The world itself is home-brewed and will be using the forgotten realms pantheon.
