Thief's Challenge 2: Beacon Point by Terry Amithor is a classic one shot written for TSR in 1995. This was one of my favorites to run in 2nd ed D&D. I have converted it faithfully to 5th ed D&D with the paper module in hand, adding my own small tweaks to enhance game play. This adventure is ran with a single level 6 PC, who is required to have at least 3 levels in Rogue. I allow use of the D&D Beyond extension. You can bring your own character or I can provide a selection from you to choose from. The adventure will take between 4 and 6 hours to complete. This adventure is suitable for newbies and veterans alike! Synopsis: Looking for opportunity and fresh pickings, a rogue hops on a ship for new lands, only to leap from the frying pan into the fire! A key to his survival will be the ability to tell friend from foe and in the treacherous waters of Bitter Shoals, that's not always an easy call. There are several paths to success - but many more to failure and even death on Beacon Point. Can a single player stay alive with no more than wits, hard-earned thieving skills, and escape the island? About me: My name is Joseph. RPGs have been a constant part of my life for nearly 4 decades. I was raised by a master DM and I am often the DM for my friends. I have an emphasis on role playing over dice rolling and much prefer for combats to be swift and decisive. I typically spend hours creating maps and other visuals to bring the game alive. I am a history nerd and I use this to bring a sense of realism and historical context to my game while reminding myself that there still are wizards and dragons. Cost: $20 upfront via Paypal DM me here for details. I am flexible on date/time, just let me know when you'd like to play. I also teach children.
