Unable to rotate shapes in game.

I've tried to draw rectangles and then rotate them, but I'm unable to do so. Clicking on the rotate point on the shape just causes it to ping instead. I've tried clearing my cache and restarting roll20 but no luck.

Questions: 1. What browser are you using? Are you using a tablet or unusual pointing device? 2. Are you able to rotate other objects? 3. Do you have any luck with the selected object if you down the E key while scrolling your mouse wheel?
1. Google chrome -- And no just regular mouse & keyboard. 2. Yes. I can rotate tokens & pictures. I cannot rotate any other drawings (such as freehand things).  3. Yes, I was able to rotate by using the E key (or Alt-E)

Shoot. I can't reproduce this. If I draw a square and drage the rotation handle, it rotates as expected. Unless someone comes up with a better idea, you might have to go with the Troubleshooting steps below and send a console log in a  Help Center Request . As an aside, if you are attempting to rotate a drawing for the purposes of Dynamic Lighting blockers, it is my understanding that this is a bad practice that may lead to unexpected results. Could you please carefully work through these steps of our guide to  Solving Technical Issues ? Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome  and  Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable  all  add-ons/extensions. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please thoroughly work through  Step 4 .  (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) Thank you!

@Keith I'm having the same issue. No handles at all on Lighting layer, handle but no rotation on any other layer.  It appears to affect pages with lighting turned on - spawned a new page, no problem.
Is it affected by the zoom level on the page?

It's Updated Dynamic Lighting. Without any lighting, shapes etc. rotate on the other layers. With legacy dynamic lighting, shapes etc. still rotate on other layers. With Updated Dynamic Lighting, shapes, words, all drawn objects do not rotate on any layer, despite having rotation handles. You can remove UDL and rotate them then turn it back on.

Pat -- which lighting system are you testing with? This might need to be added to the list of UDL bugs.
Aha! That explains something. For a while I was unable to rotate multiple selected objects, then Saturday I found that I could again. I figured it was just one of those passing glitches, but now I realize that the problem was occurring in a UDL game, and did not occur in a LDL game. Just checked and, sure enough, I still can't rotate multiple objects in the UDL game. (I can rotate single objects though.) Turn off UDL, and rotation works fine.

@Keithcurtis it's by page, determined by whether the UDL switch is on. You can still rotate with LDL. You should be able to replicate: Open a new game Go to the default page Duplicate page On the first page gear, set nothing or set LDL On the new page set UDL. On each, on the token layer, draw a shape or text, even copy and paste one to another. Select and attempt to rotate. On the LDL/None page, you'll be able to rotate. On the UDL page, you will not.  To confirm, go to the UDL page and switch UDL off.  You should now be able to rotate shapes.
Hi, it is currently November and I am experiencing this problem as well. Is there a more simple way that is going to be patching this? My current solution for dungeons with rotating mechanics is to create all the different rotations and make the unused ones smaller. Then I resize and swap them out depending on which rotation my players need.
