We will be playing in the harsh, frozen domain of Icewind Dale!&nbsp; I've been looking forward to this campaign for a while! And now that it's release is imminent, I'm looking for a few brave adventurers to take up the challenge!&nbsp; Welcome to Icewind Dale! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Beneath the unyielding night sky, you stand before a towering glacier and recite an ancient rhyme, causing a crack to form in the great wall of ice. Beyond this yawning fissure, the Caves of Hunger await. And past this icy dungeon is a secret so old and terrifying that few dare speak of it. The mad wizards of the Arcane Brotherhood long to possess that which the god of winter’s wrath has so coldly preserved—as do you! What fantastic secrets and treasures are entombed in the sunless heart of the glacier, and what will their discovery mean for the denizens of Icewind Dale? Can you save Ten-Towns from the Frostmaiden’s everlasting night? Hello!&nbsp; ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This game, as stated above, will use the Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frost Maiden adventure path. This will typically take characters from level 1-12. However, this campaign may take the characters to even higher levels!&nbsp; DM Introduction: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My name is Daniel, and I will be the DM for this epic adventure. I've been DM'ing for several years and run just about every hardcover adventure (and more modules than I can count). I have also run several homebrew campaigns.&nbsp; My overall DM'ing philosophy is that "Fun comes first." I will do everything I can to ensure that everyone is having a good time. I think that a huge part of that is making sure that the players are invested in the campaign world. It's much easier to have fun when you are caught up in the world and the story.&nbsp; Payment &amp; Refund Policy: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a paid game.&nbsp; Session 0 will be free, so that we can get to know each other and finalize characters and backstory without any pressure.&nbsp; Each player is responsible for a payment of $15 per session to the DM to be submitted 24 hours prior to the session start time. If you would like to pay for the month in advance, you will receive a discount. A $50 payment will pay for 4 sessions in advance.&nbsp; I understand that life happens though. If you are going to miss a session, let me know with at least 24 hours notice, there will be no need to pay for the next session. If you have already payed for the next session though, I will be able to issue a refund (provided that notice is given at least 24 hours prior to the session). If there is an emergency and you are unable to provide 24 hours notice, I will simply count your payment towards the next session.&nbsp; However, players are expected to attend most sessions. Continued absence is grounds for dismissal from the game. Likewise, non-payment is grounds for dismissal from the game.&nbsp; General Rules: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Players must abide by standards of decency. To put it simply no bullying, harassing, or demeaning behavior towards your fellow players will be tolerated. Similarly, no use of slurs or hate speech will be permitted.&nbsp; Let's all be nice and have fun as friends.&nbsp; Character Creation: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We will begin the game at 1st level. Anything published by Wizards of the Coast is fair game to use, in any combination.&nbsp; Any homebrew content or UA content will require the DM's approval.&nbsp; You can use a standard point-buy or roll for your ability scores. FYI, still getting a 404 error on the application link.&nbsp; One question... I might be interested in applying with my son. I'm in my 40s, he's 12 (but very experienced with DnD). Would you be open to that or is it adults only?
