Dynamic Lightning - Dim Lighting on Tokens and Relative Distances Incorrect

I'm just starting up my first campaign and I'm having some issues regarding sight distances on a dark gridded map. My issue comes in when a particular token has Darkvision in total darkness and in dim light. In this case they can see in total darkness as if it were dim light up to 60 feet.. Unfortunately, either through a miscalculation on my part, or some other factor that I am unaware of at the moment, the token is unable to see up to 60 feet on the grid. So here are the tokens on an unlit map. These tokens are 60 feet apart from each other. And here is the display with the token on right with 60' vision on a darkened map:  Notice how the total vision only stretches out to 45 feet total. Here is the setting the token has for vision: If I change the token's Emits Light radius to reflect the Dim Light in total darkness aspect of Darkvision with a -1 in the second box, this is the result: In the case of full vision, the token can only see out to 45 feet. In the case of dim light, the token can barely see past 35 feet, with 60 feet being out of the question. I figure because I'm new at this I must be doing something wrong, either with the page settings for the Dynamic Lighting or the Grid size, or I am calculating something wrong with the token distances and sight. This is the page setting: Can anyone assist me or tell me what I'm missing or doing wrong?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Proper settings for 5e darkvision are 60/0 (which leaves a little bright light on the token itself) or 60/-5 (which makes the token darker). In either case, the last 5 feet or so will be very dark. The fade out range in Dynamic Lighting seems a bit extreme in this case. Part of it is your dark background. If it was white, you would be able to see more. Another part is the size of the token. You might get another square of light if the token took up the entire square.
Thank you for your response. I'm not sure I understand why the green background would make any difference. I played with the settings as best I could on 2 maps: the green background that I detailed above, and the actual forest map that I planned to use for an encounter.  In both cases, the Darkvision distance (the furthest point of 60 feet)  just did not match up to 60 feet. It was always 15 feet short of where it actually should be. In regards to whether or not my map background is white, green, a forest setting, or an urban setting, if I set the Emits Light box to 60 feet, and the grid is 5 feet for each grid square, I should be getting a total of 12 squares of sight, not 8, 9, or 10.  You can clearly seen in the 2nd picture that 60 feet of Darkvision gives me only 9 grid squares of vision, not the proper 12 that 60 feet should give. That do not change based on a white, green, blue, forest, or urban background. 9 squares is 9 squares. If I'm setting the Emit's Light boxes to assume Dim Lighting for Darkvision, I should still be getting 12 full boxes of DIM light. It won't be bright light like my 2nd example above, but it should be fairly dim, with shapes and tokens barely seen, but still visible without details.  Whether or not I set my own Darkvision at 60/-5 or 60-1 makes no difference on the further point visible. It's still short in any case. Nothing is visible past 45ish feet.

The green just is harder to see through the dim light. If the background was white, you would see farther. This has always been a quirk of the light sources in that the fade to black makes the last portion hard to see. If you look at the bright light version, you can just  make out the token. In the dim light version, you can just  make out the grid lines. If the token on the left takes up the full square, you might get another 5 feet of light. If all else fails, you will need to add a bit more light (i.e. 65 feet).
I find setting it to 75/-5 actually gives you 60 ft of darkvision.
