Intro Character Sheet (best practices for using Bio tab & Char Sheet tabs in-game)

WIP work in progress Application for new PC's. Draft a basic character concept: Basic introductory starting character concept details the DM would like to know. Character Sheet tab (some fields used, please skip certain fields). Bio & Info tab is used for certain stats about your PC. Roll20 introduced Character Sheets, a new feature, June 2014. There is a 2nd Edition AD&D Character Sheet tab available for each PC, found as a tab under the Character Journal section in the game, next to Bio & Info tab . We will use the Character Sheet tab for some stats & certain rolls. We will NOT use the Character Sheet for some other stats (even though it asks on the Character Sheet, we are skipping certain fields to make the game easier), which I will list here. Use the Bio & Info tab of your Character Journal for certain info as requested below. NOTE please understand that certain info is placed on your Bio tab, and other info is placed on your Character Sheet tab. Both are important parts of recording your PC in this campaign. This thread will tell you where to place important info & stats about your PC. This is designed to highlight your PC's abilities and make it easy to use your character abilities in the game play. Please fill-in the requested fields in the Character Sheet, and write the other info requested in your Bio.

On Character Sheet in your Journal please DO fill in the following fields for your PC: Ability Scores - Standard Ability Scores Ability Scores - fill in all relevant modifiers on the chart here. Height, Weight, Age, Max Age, Handedness Saving Throws (We will Roll Saving Throws directly from the character sheet here, it works.) Armor Type: Describe your outfit / appearance, as well as any defensive bonuses that may apply. Gear: List all Gear and Location (Do not use Weight) Weapon Proficiencies Special Abilities: note any special abilities you want to try Thief Abilities Spells Memorized = where to keep track of Spells Used Spell Book = Known Spells Scrolls

On Character Sheet in your Journal PLEASE SKIP the following fields (Do NOT fill these fields on the Character Sheet). Do NOT fill these fields on the in-game Character Sheet tab. It would be Okay if you filled these fields but we will not use them from the Character Sheet directly. In some cases the GM requested the information is written in another place (such as writing XP, GP, and NWP's on your Bio tab). In other cases we do not use certain rules in this campaign (like weight for items of gear for encumbrance). Weapons (optional: List the weapon type & damage but ignore the other fields of THAC0, weight, size, type, speed.) Alignment (optional: Lawful, Good, Neutral, CG) AC Surprised Movement Basic Encumbrance Advanced Encumbrance Experience Points (USE BIO PAGE INSTEAD) Non-Weapon Proficiencies (List NWP's on Bio page) Languages (List on Bio page instead with NWP's) Wealth, GP, PP, EP, SP, CP (Tally GP on Bio) Gems (List your Gems on your Bio instead) Other Items of Value (List this on your Bio) Henchpersons (They get their own sheet instead) Animal Companions (They get their own sheet)

On Bio & Info tab in your Character Journal, put the following: (WORK IN PROGRESS) PLAYER'S ROLL20 NAME: CHARACTER NAME: SPECIES GENDER CLASS LEVEL KIT. Short description touching on your Background, Culture, Identity, Deity, Portfolio, Origin, Style, Backstory, Alignment, or Motive (10 words or less, Ok we will let it slide with 12-15 words max. Edit your description down to 1-3 core traits in 1 short sentence.) Weapons Chart from GM Gold --- You will get an example format from the GM for this soon. NWP Slots Chart from GM Gold Non-Weapon Proficiencies --- You will get an example format from the GM for this soon. Languages Speak / Read & Write S/R/W Chart from GM Gold --- You will get an example format from the GM for this soon.
