[LFP][5E][Free] West Marches Game Looking For More Players

Welcome!   I'm one of Four DMs for a West Marches game that's looking for more players. Our game is in a homebrew setting (a dynamic island to explore with a map that is built around the player's explorations), with the typical 5E Ruleset (we do have a few house rules, but not many).   Our game's DMs each focus on a different aspect of the game -- we have one DM whose games tend to focus around politics and intrigue, as well as long lasting circumstances.  One DM's games tends to focus more on the absurd and when you're running with him, you don't know if you're going to be part of a revolt, or be asked to find a psychic pig that wandered off its owner's farm.  I specialize in running dungeon crawls, as well as teaching newbies the basics of the game so that they can take off running.  Our fourth DM is currently taking a break from running games, but when he does, he prefers tight, descriptive sessions filled with roleplaying and lighter on the fighting. So, as you can see, there's a good mix of one shot random games, as well as an ongoing dungeon crawl, and an overarching, dynamic, ever-changing story.   Games are held randomly, but we try to have 2-3 games a week, and more whenever we can fit it in our gaming schedules (In our other D&D server, where most of us come from, there's 14 games a week, most of which with variations of the same players).   If you're interested in joining our game, please feel free to leave a message here, or message me directly.   If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer. Thank you!
Id like to join. What timezone are you in? I'm GMT+1
I’m interested and can play on weekday evenings after 8pm eastern time. I have a solid grasp of D&D 5e basics and have played roughly 10 or 12 sessions of home brew content.  I like to run spellcaster. i have never played a West Marches style game.  Is it basically just drop in when available and run with whatever story and players are going on that session?  Do you get to keep the experience and loot gained from session to session?

I'd be interested in the dungeon crawling. Open to play whatever is needed. Available weekday nights after 8pm eastern or later on weekends.

I'm GMT+1 We have people from all timezones.  :)  Our DMs are trying to make sure there's games at all sorts of times, to try to get as many people as we can into the mix.  We have a DM in PST, one in CST, one in EST, and one in NZST.  :D   We have odd hours, to say the least.

West Marches is pretty much an on-going drop-in game.  In our West Marches, the DMs posts a game (usually a week out) and if you want to potentially join, you leave a reaction.  Two days before game day, the DM rolls and posts a list of who plays in that session.  If you're chosen, you play.  EXP and Loot is kept, and you just move from session to session, gaining levels and doing things in the world.  It's a lot of fun, and allows you to play with new people all the time, as well as see what DMs play works best for you.
