You are hired by your good friend Gundren Rockseeker to escort a wagon of mining supplies from the City of Neverwinter to the frontier town of Phandalin, you have been offered 10 gold coins for this job, and promised further work once you arrive in Phandalin. Gundren was clearly more excited and more than a little secretive about his reasons for the trip, saying that he and his brothers found “something big”, and that he would pay you 10 gold pieces each for escorting his supplies safely to Barthen’s Provisions, a trading post in Phandalin. He then set out ahead of you on horse, along with a warrior escort names Sildar Hallwinter, claiming e needed to arrive early to take care of business.” About the Game This module is well suited for new players as an introduction to Dungeons and Dragons. I have taken the time to add new parts to the campaign along with additional people and quests to encounter that allow the group to immerse themselves in the world even further. Each play through offers some unique interactions or encounters that are not recycled between games. I believe in keeping it fresh and new so that even players who have run through it before are able to enjoy it once more. This adventure will take you from levels 1-5. If the group enjoys playing together and wishes to move into additional content a new module can be discussed to allow the characters to level even further. Schedule: Weekly, Sunday 7-10PM EDT. Note: If you have a group together and need a DM, feel free to message me and we can see if we can work out a time that would be best for your group. Session Length : Each session will be a mini mum of 3 hours. It may go a bit longer depending on where we are near the end of a session. Campaign Length: This campaign should take 3-4 months to complete. Consistent attendance is important and it should be the main goal for each player to be at a majority of the sessions. Games would likely continue if one player was missing, but will be addressed on a case by case basis. Beginning Level: The group is currently level 3. Group Size: 5 – 7 players About the Dungeon Master I have been playing D&D for over 2 years now. I started as a player and stepped into the Dungeon Master role when my first group lost its DM in the first 2 sessions of playing. Since I started being a DM, I found great job in bringing the stories to life for other players to play though and immerse themselves in. I believe the rules are a lovely structure for the game, but operate under the known “rule of cool.” I like to let my characters role play and watch their characters develop through their experiences in the world they are exploring. Why Pay for a Game? First session is free to allow each player to get a feel for my style as a DM. The group is currently on session 11. Running a campaign takes a lot of time outside of the session to plant out. Much of the money that is paid goes into getting additional campaigns, maps, images, and subscriptions to give my players an even better experience. Paying for a session also ensures that each player will be more likely to attend and are here to enjoy a quality campaign. These things together add up to an enhanced game experience. Game Rules: · If a player is abusive or discriminatory to another player or myself, they will be removed from the game immediately. There is a zero-tolerance policy for this kind of behavior. DnD is about bringing people together to have fun. · The aim of the game is to have fun. I regularly ask players for feedback on how they feel about the campaign and gage if they are having fun. If a player is not having fun, we can discuss it further and see if any adjustments can be made to help. · Respect your fellow players and DM. Everyone should be respectful and friendly to one another. The spotlight is meant to be shared equally. · No one gets to have fun at the expense of another player. It is about team work and getting through the campaign together. Inner party struggle in a sense of growth can be very transformative to role play, but not at the expense of reducing someone else’s fun. Additional Details: Character creation and home brew rules will be discussed during Session 0. I try to work player characters into the story line to some degree to help you feel more tied to the world. If you might be interested in playing or have a group of people looking for a DM to play through a module, feel free to message me and we can discuss it further!
