Crazy, probably stupid, question.

Is it possible to add to or expand to your own personal compendium (I'm using Pathfinder 1e) to expand its functionality.? I hope this can be done to include drag and drop capability on the new material. I'd like to include my own home-brewed entries.

That's not possible. Roll20 has talked about working on custom compendiums for some time, though that is likely a long way off if it happens.

It's a popular suggestion, go and vote on it: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2940484/custom-compendium" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2940484/custom-compendium</a> I recapped the situation on this page: <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Custom_Compendium" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Custom_Compendium</a>

Nice to know I'm not alone in my desires. So what would it entail for users to do that, were it implemented by the platform? Going to sign myself in at the link. Thanks!

Actual answer will have to come form roll20 staff, but it could look like: roll20 updates their ToS. roll20 publishes a data dictionary/format for a custom compendium. user writes data in that format. user imports that formatted data. peace, love, and understanding.
I love it when a plan comes together!

Having seen the back end of the Compendium, I can attest that it would require an extensive overhaul to approach anything like "user-friendly".
I suspected that might be the case and I was just dreaming of the impossible.
