Coloured light sources (Dynamic Lighting)

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, I've just been unable to locate it.  Is it possible to set a light source's colour to tint the map accordingly? For example, lava would give orange light, while a teleporter may be violet. This would then affect the colours seen by players as they approach an area and give an indication of what is ahead.  Thanks.

Not yet. Currently, only Night Vision in UDL has tinting, but that is not light (i.e. it makes things darker when you tint them instead of brighter.

A popular trick is to use auras to tint light sources. This trick and a couple of posts under it discuss it. The auras do have hard edges, so they work better for larger areas. You can use a PNG with an alpha channel and create some nicer gradients if you want to get a bit fancier, but obviously it's a bit more work. edit - this is just trickery, of course. As Brian has pointed out, you can't create actual colored light
