[LFG] Completely new player looking for 5e or 3.5, flexible on time

Hi everyone, I grew up reading my brother's AD&D manuals and playing games like Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter, but I never actually played a PnP campaign. I'm looking to join a campaign that's open to having someone new. Feel free to message/post if you have questions or want to invite me. I'm not sure what kinds of details are typical to provide so let me know if you have any questions. I'd be open to other games besides D&D but since I'm more familiar with it I figure it's probably the safer bet.

We're looking for new players for our time-travel game. It's not D&D, but I thought I'd ask anyway. DM me if you're interested. It's a modern / scifi game set in a culture where time travel exists, and you're part of that culture, trying to save the world from Narcissists intent on reshaping the world in their own image.
