Just want to get a feel for levels of interest in a game of DnD 4e. Preferably new characters and I'd be looking for a DM as well. Please reply if interested in being PC or DM (also, times should be GMT friendly)
I'm interested in such a game, depending on the day...I'd prefer not to do weekends. I'd definitely prefer to be a PC. But I'm kinda looking for a 4e game at higher levels, where there's a bit more variety with the characters.
Am on PST, flexible schedule, would be quite interested, have limited experience 4e, but have played a 3.5, and a little pathfinder, but have much more experience with WoD, and Dark Heresy. Would prefer to be a PC. Not sure what other information you might want, but if you have any, please ask.
I am very interested in a 4e campaign.. I can't DM but I can play a PC! I prefer ranged characters and I can fill the controller or striker class depending on the groups comp!
i'd like to play as well if your still looking for ppl im kind new to dnd but i have the books and i really want to get some exp under my belt so i can eventually start DMing
Im interested in playing as well... PC spot, i like to play strikers but i have a goblin-necromancer(Wizard variant) made up recently that id like to try.... day/time varies. Im newish to tabletop rp but have played a few games here on roll20 (and am currently in a game on Thursday nights.
I am interested in an ongoing 4e game with alternating DM's on a GMT friendly time (preferably a week night at around 8pm GMT). I could be one of those DM's. Idea being that everyone has their characters, and the DM's takes turns running short adventures (1-2 sessions each), with strict adherence to the treasure parcels and stuff so things doesn't shoot of into crazyland with insane loot. I would even propose a wish list system where the players basically select their own loot, it also reduces the effort to design adventures
well it sounds like we have a fair few people interested in a game, if possible, could you all put the times you would be available in a comment below (try to convert to GMT if possible) I like your idea Karl, if everyone else is up for something like that, then that could work!
I would be interested in trying out 4e; but that being said,I'll have to say that I don't have any previous 4e experience, which doesn't really make me "qualified". GMT+2 (CEST) time and weekday evenings are limiting, but manageable.
I can most likely do any time on Monday, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (I go by EST Which is 5 hours behind of yours) and as for DM rotations I currently am in a campaign that has rotating DMs and it works well! We have a central area people can take bits of story from other adventures prior to this one and roll with it. Didn't kill that last kobold... make him the mastermind behind the plot the next time you DM or someone before you. Might be polite to ask if you can use part of their campaign for your own though. Don't ask specifics as it will give it away haha. I am a really really bad DM though so and I don't enjoy it at all, so I will be the character that is always there, or I can rotate between 2 characters so no 1 character is higher than the rest of the pack!
I am in the process of creating a campaign, if you want to be part of it with the rotating DMs (as suggested), then reply that you would want to join and I'll message you with the link. Once you've joined we can sort out times and who DMs first etc in the campaign page
If your still looking for folks I'd love to join a 4th ed. game. Been playing it for a long time but not playing it in any groups at the moment and would like to get back into a game.
I'll reconfirm my interest, but again to mention "first timer, but willing to learn". GMT+2 (Central European Summer Time). If you can "work" with that, sure.
I don't know if this is full or not, but if not I'm definitely interested. Its been a while since I've played 4th, and I'm DMing a bunch of 4th ed events at GenCon, so The rotating GMs ideas sounds very good. As far as GMing goes Karl you are thinking that GMs would write their own 1-3 session modules? Also, I might have missed it, but what levels are people thinking would be good. I am much more interested in beginning paragon and up.
I was going to start everyone out at lvl1, just so people could learn slowly without having to remember everything at once. But if you're okay with that, then we'd love to have you! Just let me know and i can pm you the campaign link.
Hmm...we could do another game for more experienced players...if people want to do that...I'mkinda looking for a paragon level something too, heh. Preferably during the GMT weekdays. The 4e one shots are nice...but been so many games in lvl 1.
I'm definitely interested in some kind of 4e game for more experienced players. I can't say I'm a pro but I've been playing the game for almost two years now.
