Hello! This is my first time posting, so I'm as unfamiliar with the conventions as I am with Roll20, but I'm looking for players and those interested in GMing a shared West-Marches styled 5e based D&D game named Blackwater. The game has been going on for several months, employing a discord server with approx. 13 people, less than half of those of which are regularly active. I've adapted several homebrew rulesets to suit a game that emphasizes exploration, time-management, and player engagement. It's a fairly standard hex-crawl in many respects. There's also a system of continual progression wherein you can retire old characters through a system called, "endowment" where boasting about your adventures on the discord gains you points to spend on items at character creation. Of course, if you're the type that likes to play one character, you'll likely find great success establishing a landholding, or running a guild. All communication is done via our discord server. If anyone is interested I'll send you an invite so you can check it out. There's a lot to take in at first so no pressure. Minors must be supervised by an adult. There are naughty words and this game is not appropriate for children. Any questions feel free to ask. Thank you for your time.
