Robotech

So rather curious if there are robotech fans out there?

Yes there are a few of us, that I know of, here.

Robotech was the first RPG I ever played.  Would love to be a veritech pilot again, such nostalgia

yeah, i liked some of the other 'bots, but the veritech was badass

Was the first Palladium game system I bought.  And still a favorite!

Fan of Macross.  Did not really get into the system but I do play other palladium based (RIFTS, etc.) though not in any games atm. 

Y'all can keep your fancy schmancy Veritechs.  I'm perfectly happy with my Destroids and Cyclones, thank your very much!

I've enjoyed reading the Robotech books, and I've seen the individual series that made up robotech. If a game gets together I'd be interested in trying it out.

I'm tinkering with the idea of running a Southern Cross/Invid invasion.  The idea is the team is one of the few remaining Aerospace units of the Southern Cross right before the Invid arrive, crashing land into Africa.  Initial arc idea is pulling from Halo ODST then afterwards survival and building the foundation of Africa Resistance Force. Just one of the ideas I bouncing around with as I'm debating running a second game. 

I would be interested in a Shadow Chronicles game, asides from the movie that era is wide open for potential.  Plus it has my favorite mechs, Veritechs and Cyclones!

well I been playing with an idea so let me just put this out there first hand, I am a bad gm, this isn't self pity I just know what I am and am not. That said. I been playing with an idea of less military setting, doing more of a space rouge or pirate type setting. like say a shit split when everyone took all the protoculter before southern cross happened leaving your crew or shit just out there doing gods know what while you scrap, survive, fight, travel and so on. again its an idea. 

I'd definitely roll up an engineer type for that crew.

Yeah we ended up dragging a lot of robotech into my mess. In many ways i'm totally jazzed as mmilitarilly speaking its the coolest and brings me back to my highschool days lol

Robotech fan here as well, actually rewatching the series right now.  I would be interested in joining depending on the day/time. I am a GM but I have not done Robotech in ages.  Mostly TMNT, Heroes Unlimited, some Rifts.  PM me we can try to collaborate on something.  

Yeah tmnt was my first palladium then sounds of robotech and heroes.We're talking pre rifts of-coarse (he says dating himself lol).
