Less Eye-Drawing Variant of Auras

I've always wanted to add Auras to my tokens for simplicity reason but I found that having to set the aura to be a solid color, that isn't very translucent to say the least, is always really hard to look at, especially if the effect that aura represents has a quite large radious I'd like to suggest a toggleable button to make the aura into more a ring, where instead of a solid circle of color around the token there is a ring of the designated color around the token. A slide for adjusting the translucency of said ring or the solid circle aura would be nice too. Does anybody else agree with this? No? Please do tell me if yes or no and your reason why, I'm very open to other opinions.
As TheAaron explains in this thread (5th post down) , you can use the 8 digit RGB format to indicate any level of translucency.
Roll20 just has so much cool stuff that's barely documented anywhere, thanks for bringing this to my attention. Cheers!
