Gamma World: Freeman's Land Hi fellow pen & paper people. I am looking for a group to play several different game of Gamma World. I have something for every playstyle. Arena PVE/PVP for down and dirty gladiatorial combat to help learn the game or just hone your combat abilities. I have a one shot scenario for those who just want to pick up a quick game, and I have an open world game for more advanced players that allows limited pvp and a setting to develop your character in. I would prefer players with a mic and camera who are comfortable being broadcast. Follow me at Baked Beans Roll20 Channel to read more about my games, or join through the roll20 looking for players system.

Gamma World: Freeman's Land Bumpin this up a little. If you are interested in a Post Apocalyptic Sci-Fantasy setting then Gamma World s perfect. It's a great game for new players as well because it uses a very streamlined D&D4e system that focuses on storytelling more than number crunching. New players are always welcome to my games, and of course we will be streaming our games to try to help get the word out about roll20 on twitch.tv.
Im interested, feel free to add my skype: xISmokyIx (should show up as perry)
I actually don't use skype. I will send you a link to the game though.
what books will be needed and when are you looking to run?
You could probably get away without the books if you have some experience with D&D4e. Using the online character creator makes getting started really fast. I will be using the Gamma World 4e Core Set for the game, and sprinkling in some of the old TSR campaigns and content like Artifact Identification.
Shooting for Sunday nights 9pm GMT-6, but I can also host groups around 10am GMT-6 on another day for non US based players.
sounds good, I gave my friend all the 4e books and he started to run but stopped after he had a bicycle accident recently.
also you have awesome taste in your username's picture.
That is a cover for a Shadow Cthulhu Mythos oneshot comic called The Shadow Over Innsmouth
We could use a couple more players for this Sunday's game. New players welcome. Gamma World uses a very simplified 4e rule set.
First session went pretty good. Had a no show and someone had to drop out shortly after we started but the remaining triumphed in the face of adversity. Still looking for more player for the group or separate groups. Playing this at nights around 9pm. Most days are open for now. We are playing again tonight if anyone wants to join in. You can watch last night's session here Gamma World Freeman's Land Session 1 The actual game starts around 52 minutes.
Link to join the game
Come on people pull your heads out of your sandy D&D and Pathfinder holes. There is a great big world of RPG's out there and I need more victims... I mean players.

Hey I'm interested. What days/times will this be played? I'm not 100% sure if I can make a long term commitment, but I'd love to play a few sessions.
Gamma world 4e is an awesome game. I'm not available during your game time but Folks should jump on this.
The game time is actually not set in stone. I am trying to get multiple groups for multiple nights. Right now we are playing on Sunday and Wednesday nights 9pm CST (-6GMT) with a 2-3 man group. I am the most fluid kind of DM... The unemployed kind.
If you ever get the AM game going, I'd be down, I work nights so cant really do the PM
Ya I could probably swing an early am game once a week or so My kids have been sleeping in pretty late this summer. If anyone else is interested in a morning game let me know.
Ok cool, let me know as I love the flavor of Gamma World
