Specific Macros Help - College of Spirits Bard

Hello, I am extremely inexperienced with macros and haven't done anything complicated yet, and there's one thing I'd like to get help with. That's the college of spirits bard feature, Tales From Beyond. This requires the user to roll a bardic die and then be able to use an effect from a table determined by that roll. Is there any easy way to do this? I don't need the actual effects automated, but just having the actual roll process would be nice. So, have a macro which rolls your bardic inspiration die and then pastes a text box into the chat depending on the number rolled.

A lot of setup, but you could in theory make [up to] 12 rollable tables named 1TalesFromBeyond, 2TalesFromBeyond, etc. Each would have one entry corresponding to the "tale" result. Then you could roll it using [[ 1t[[[1d12]]TalesFromBeyond] ]] Obviously the d12 would be adjusted to the appropriate inspiration die, and you could pretty the roll up in the template of your choice.
What you need is a Rollable Table. The Help Page will show you how to set it up and how to roll it. Label it something like Spirit-Tales and only give it the number of entries needed for your bard's current Inspiration die size. Instead of naming them with the numbers, type in the entire entry from the table, leaving the weight the default entry so it rolls correctly. If you want a macro to roll it, go into the bard's character sheet, go to the Attributes and Abilities and create a new Ability, label it Spirit-Tale and in the body write: /r 1t[Spirit-Tales] It will then output the result in the chat.

Duh, what Dakota said. I'm being heavily distracted by college football right now. My team just suffered a heartbreaking loss and, like JJ Abrahms' Spock, "I am emotionally compromised". Thought I'd pop over to the forums to take my mind off of it. Sigh...
Ha ha, we've all been there, David.
