Player still shown in game despite leaving

Hello there. I have an issue where a player (Dakota B) I played with long ago is still being shown in the game character sheet. Whenever I click on "Can be edited and controlled by", this player is still in the list despite no longer playing and was removed from the game. It does not affect the game in anyway, but I was wondering how I can get this fixed. Thank you.

Hm. Are there any other existing characters or handouts that specifically list them? I've never investigated this phenomenon, though I have seen it reported. I wonder if doing a sweep to remove all reference, then clearing the cache and reloading the game will have any effect?

As far as I am aware, I have removed all reference of him from the game, yet he still shows up on the list.
