FX and Token

Hi! Please tell me how I can bind FX to a token so that the effect is permanent. I don't understand the API at all...

There's Status FX, which lets you set up recurring FX on a token by choosing a token marker... is that the one you're looking for?

It might be a better idea to describe what it is you want to accomplish. There are other scripts which do similar things which might suit the need better.
keithcurtis ,  Pat  For example, I want to put sparks to the source of fire; add a flow effect to the water; clouds of fog around the source of smoke. In addition to the option when the effect works constantly, I would like to be able to adjust the response frequency.

So for that, you want PageFX - and you want to be careful how many effects you add.

Continual FX can really, really drag a page, sometimes.
It would be easier to just use animated GIFs, which will suck memory, but work.

You might also be able to do some things with Token Condition .
It is strange that previously PageFX did not work for me, but when I tried it, it was close to what I would like. PageFX has a drawback, which is that it does the effects as if I had clicked multiple times. I would like to have the same effect as long holding down the mouse button. I didn't understand how to achieve what I wanted using Token Condition. And I have never met interesting GIFs with a top view.
I also found the disadvantage of PageFX that the effects are automatically enabled when I add a new token. It can also overlay many effect animations on top of each other when I minimize the page and then return to it.

Token Condition would be useful for attaching an animation to an object (example: a Fire Elemental that emits sparks), rather than having it continually generate an fx. There are some nice small animations on the Marketplace that might be less problematic than FX.
This is good, but these kits are not that cheap.

The public domain has some animated images of fire you can find as .gifs. They may not be as fancy or as purpose-built as ones in the marketplace, or as easy to load or implement.
