Obvious treasure On the dead Orcs are 9 gp and 208 sp. On Orog - he has spiky chaos-themed full plate armour (AC 18, heavy), a shield, & a morningstar. His belt is made of silver, with a gold buckle (total value 160 gold pieces) and his morningstar has a 100 gold piece value emerald set in its hilt. In his purse are 8 gold pieces, 17 electrum pieces, and 5 silver pieces. Outside Orog's chamber are looted barrels of beer and wine, total value 55gp but hard to transport (400 lb total weight). Orog's Chamber - There is an broken-lock chest supported on two human skeletons that holds exactly 500 gp and a strange magical silk rope - a rope of climbing . There is a copper bowl, finely wrought and chased with silver, under the throne. However, it is filled with orc poo and very tarnished. One of the skeletons has a rune-scribed hand axe embedded in its skull, between the eyes. On inspection this is an enchanted dwarven hand axe +1 .
FANCY!!! Did Erasmus also take ballet classes too?? 🤔
And Strohm is well beefy!! 😳
Here's my boy Syrus! :-D @Tim Great job on Mirabelle - she has that bling new necklace on!! :-D
You can't see it in that picture, but Mirabelle also has a bottle of wine in her hand. :D

Here is the motley crew so far! ;) (More images welcome!)

Loving Hero Forge, but just discovered another site to create minis!!! https://eldritch-foundry.com/ The results from this website is more "realistic" and less "Cute-sy"? And seems to have more variations on detailing too.....

Here is an updated pic of greedy-ass Syrus!! Haha ;)
Nice
Might be worth making a token of him? :) http://rolladvantage.com/tokenstamp/ Kenny H. said: Here is an updated pic of greedy-ass Syrus!! Haha ;)
Something like this? Always hard to know how close-in to take the shot. :)
I've swapped out Syrus' token for now. Simon N. said: Something like this? Always hard to know how close-in to take the shot. :)
Simon N. said: Something like this? Always hard to know how close-in to take the shot. :) Oh WOW! Yes please! :-D
I do like my current token but I could go for a similar look if you fancy it, Simon. ;-p

Hi Kenny - I've replaced your token with the one below. :) Kenny H. said: Simon N. said: Something like this? Always hard to know how close-in to take the shot. :) Oh WOW! Yes please! :-D

Well you do have great taste in pics :p :D
Tim M. said: I do like my current token but I could go for a similar look if you fancy it, Simon. ;-p Up to you, but I think I like your current token better for 2D gaming. Syrus was just the generic WotC Half Elf Bard, Erasmus is distinctive. :)

Syrus was just the generic WotC Half Elf Bard, Erasmus is distinctive. :) Erasmus has been through a lot. Had to find the right image but not a single decent monk portrait could I find. Dunno where that one came from in the end, but it is almost exactly the look and feel I was imagining.
Thinking about house ruling that PCs can accumulate unlimited Inspiration. I don't think it would break anything? And use it for a reroll - one extra d20 roll - rather than just for Advantage. Still only one point per roll though. :)

And use it for a reroll - one extra d20 roll - rather than just for Advantage. Still only one point per roll though. :) Honestly, I think you're generous enough with inspiration, but not so generous that it's not a tactical decision/gamble when to use it. Erasmus has missed out on a couple because I didn't use the one I had 'just in case', but that's fine. Perhaps use a different mechanic like offering advantage on saves or checks in certain circumstances (like Erasmus's adv on next WIS Save after burying the ghost's remains - I've still got that, right?).

Talking of DMs being generous with House Rules - perhaps you will reconsider long rest being less than 7 days? This is of course purely because of my selfish desire of regaining spell slots so I can help out the rest of the party... ;)
Kenny H. said: Talking of DMs being generous with House Rules - perhaps you will reconsider long rest being less than 7 days? This is of course purely because of my selfish desire of regaining spell slots so I can help out the rest of the party... ;) OR if we can get 1x spell slot per level back after a short break? :)

Another option may be to allow recovery of other limited use actions (such as Syrus's Bardic Inspiration) after a short, rather than long, rest. I dunno, just spit-balling here! :-)

Especially if a long rest is a week-long... @TIM Love your suggestions - I think spell slots will better more spell caster PCs (eg Mirabelle) than Bardic inspo... :)
I'm not changing the long rest duration, but I'll allow crafting scrolls of spells you know during long rest & training - a 1st level spell scroll takes 2 days and costs you 25gp in ink and parchment.
Simon N. said: I'm not changing the long rest duration, but I'll allow crafting scrolls of spells you know during long rest & training - a 1st level spell scroll takes 2 days and costs you 25gp in ink and parchment. What would be the cost of scrolls for 2nd level spell and levels thereafters?
Oh, I just noticed Syrus doesn't have Arcana Skill! :-O I guess I'll let you swap out another skill for Arcana during a long rest. I'm using the XGTE rules reproduced here https://www.flutesloot.com/5e-crafting-magic-items/#spellscroll - except 2 days for level 1. So 250gp for a level 2 scroll. Brill! Thanks Simon. Re Arcana Skill - Syrus has +1 in Arcana in the "Skills" section, is that not enough? No. You need Proficiency in Arcana skill to craft scrolls. Kenny H. said: Brill! Thanks Simon. Re Arcana Skill - Syrus has +1 in Arcana in the "Skills" section, is that not enough? XP for Jack Erasmus Syrus & Strohm tonight: Zombies & ghoul: 133 Opening the Portcullis & reaching the Everflame: 50 Total 183 each.
Simon N. said: XP for Jack Erasmus Syrus & Strohm tonight: Zombies & ghoul: 133 Opening the Portcullis & reaching the Everflame: 50 Total 183 each. Woot woot! Fewer than 900 needed to Lvl 4! Thanks Simon!
BTW I am going to allow stacking Inspiration (get more than 1 point), and using it for a reroll.
Thanks Simon for all the update! With regards to Arcane proficiency for Syrus, which of his skills can be traded in, and which section on the character sheet will I add in Arcane proficiency?
You add it to the skills proficiencies as normal. It's right there in the list. Swap with any other one. Kenny H. said: Thanks Simon for all the update! First PC death today - commiseration to James on the loss of Rip Tear. He did go down fighting!
Sorry to hear about Rip Tear! RIP indeed! :-/
