[LFP] [Free] [Pathfinder 1e] Experienced Central Time Pathfinder GM looking for highly available players for RP heavy, freeform games! New players entirely welcome.

Hey guys. My name's Gray and I've been DMing for about 14 years- mostly with 3.5 and Pathfinder 1e. I'm looking for self-motivated players who want to interact with the world more than they want to kill things. To be blunt, my games are MUCH more roleplay driven than combat driven. Like 85/15 split. As far as race and class restrictions go, I greatly prefer that players choose more "normal" races for their first character with me. Basically, a race that commonly appears in nearly every campaign you may have played in DnD- no monster races, obviously. I need to learn how they play without any gimmicks in the way. Once I'm comfortable with you, however, I'm open to most anything so long as the group is okay with it. As far as Classes go, Gunslinger, Summoner, Magus and some Occult classes are banned, but most all others are available. We'll of course be using Roll20 for the map and sheets and such, and Discord for voice communication.  So, if this sounds like something that interests you, I'd love to hear back from you- new players especially. Make sure to include which time slots you are free for in your message. Preferably, also include your roleplaying experience, if any, as well as what you like to do in games. Hope to hear from you guys soon.  -Gray (And for any of you curious as to what Pathfinder is, I best sum it up as a much more polished and expanded on version of DnD 3.5. It is more complicated than 5e, but it allows you to do so much more with it. I've taught many a new player how to play, so don't feel like you're going to have to learn everything at once and on your own.)
I have a pathfinder 1e post apocalyptic west marches style campaign that is play by post, over Discord. Let me know if you are interested.
Well, hey, thanks, but I'm looking for players with this thread. Good luck with your campaign.
Im interested in it. I have only ever researched d&d 5e though so if you could give me something to look over first that would be nice. I like to know what I’m getting into before promising anything. I am available anytime but Saturday. I have a 5e campaign on that day every other week or so. I am also in CST.
I would love to join in, I'm est and I would be able to join any day besides tuesday if the game is starts around 8:30 CST. I have a few ideas on what I'd be and I'm curiuos how an rp heavy game will be.
I have played in multiple Pathfinder games over the last 7 or so years. I have DM'd a homebrew for about 6 months before life got in the way. I love developing characters and discovering their backstory along the way. I would be available most evenings as long as it was at a consistent time each week.
I am interested in your group! I am new to tabletop games and this would be my first campaign ever!! My time zone is PST and I'm available weeknights after 5 pm and free all weekend! look forward to hearing back from you.
Hey there Gray, I'm Caesar and I'm very interested in narrative focused games myself. I really enjoy player driven style of games where the PC motivations and plans drive the story and they solve their problems through creative means. I don't really mind the absence of combat and in fact I'm very much the "fight smarter, not harder" kind of player, usually the one to advocate for overcoming conflict through means other than headbutting into them. I'm in GMT+1 timezone and available Wednesday through Friday evenings (about 11AM and onward US central time) and all day long on Sunday. I've been roleplaying for close to 16 years now, mostly with 3.5 and Pathfinder 1e. As to what I like... I like engaging with and exploring the world, having in-character interactions with PCs and NPCs, building things in the world (tangible or otherwise), setting and pursuing goals, seeing my companions achieve their goals and so forth to name the first few things that come to mind. Hope to hear from you. Cheers.
Hey there. Saw your post and I've been looking to try out Pathfinder. My only experience with it is from the Pathfinder: Kingmaker CRPG (which, at best, probably only kind of counts). Played a lot of NWN 1 and 2 back in the day, so I'm familiar with 3.5e a bit. Been playing 5e frequently for a couple years though and want to give Pathfinder a shot since I'm always hearing people say how great it is. That kind of RP/Combat split is fine by me. I like working together with other players. I'm in the CST timezone and right now I'm available Sunday through Thursday (maybe late Friday, like 6pm to 12am) from about 10am to 12am (it's flexible, I can get up earlier or stay up later if necessary). Let me know if you have any questions. =)
I'm not the newest of players to pathfinder (it's actually the first system I ever played,) but it would be a newer experience to not be behind the GM screen which is where I've spent most of the last 6 years give or take.  My preference for the few times I'm a character has always been to find clever and off the wall solutions to things and to help my team fulfill their goals, usually as a spellcaster or skill-monkey of some kind.  I'm available every Monday  through Thursday  from noon on (mountain time) and Sundays after 7pm.  If I meet your criteria for an open slot, let me know on discord @ drunken_monkey #1639.  If I don't hear from you, I hope its a great campaign!
I am interested in joining, my last group was more combat orientated but i am looking to expand my role playing skills. I have been playing RPGs for more than 40 years, wow, has it been that long. :) Mostly D&D and some Heroes and along with other systems when we had a GM for it. I am EST and available most nights after 5pm. Right now i am also available weekends unless my group gets back together for our face-face game after COVID. I am new to Roll20 but have been watching the tutorials and may run something for my brother and his friends.
