Hi there! I'm looking for a game to join to fill up my free time. I would love to play Rime of the Frostmaiden, Curse of Strahd, or Tomb of Annihilation as far as modules go, but I am just as happy to join in a homebrew game as well. Unfortunately most of the time I see those modules come up, they are paid games and I am unable to pay to play right now. About Me I am 28, and live in the US (EDT). I am a very laid back player, and can be a little quiet at first, but I do quickly open up once I get a feel for the group. I get along with just about anyone pretty easily as long as everyone is respectful toward each other, and if issues do arise I encourage communication to try to resolve the issue. I'm a creative person both where it applies to gaming and outside of that, in fact before Covid put a damper on everything I was working on starting up my own business making wooden dice trays, deck boxes, and hand bound journals, and a few other items. My creative side comes out in D&D through creating somewhat oddball characters or characters with complex stories/personalities. I am in general very into lore/worldbuilding and character creation. You won't see a flat, straight from the book character from me! Experience I have been playing 5e in a long running homebrew campaign with some friends just about every week for about 4-5 years, and we've played through Dragon Heist and are currently in Mad Mage and Out of the Abyss. I also had my first experience DM'ing a one shot in the last year. I am always willing to take on a class and/or race I haven't played before and I learn quickly and enjoy learning something new, though so far I have played Cleric, Rogue/Cleric multiclass, Barbarian, and Wizard. I'll admit I'm not as comfortable taking on a "tank" type character, but that could just be because my only experience with it was the one Barbarian character. I also do prefer to stay away from combat-heavy games and grinding in general. I find myself losing focus in very long combats. I prefer roleplay, exploration, storytelling in general. Availability Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays are currently open for me. Thursdays until 9:30pm at the latest. I prefer somewhat later afternoon games, as I tend to not sleep until somewhere between 7-9am. I can generally go anytime until around midnight as an end point though. Character Concepts Right now I have a few characters I would like to play that are ready to go, just need to have a character sheet filled out. If any sound like a fit for your game, let me know! Others may be added here if I come up with more. I get hit with bouts of inspiration out of the blue sometimes. -Forge Cleric -Horizon Walker Ranger -Psionic Soul Sorcerer (If you allow Unearthed Arcana material) -College of Glamour Bard (This character is an Eberron race) This is all I can think of at the moment, if I've left anything out or you have any questions, please ask away!
