[LFG][D&D5e]Adventure of the week type grouo

Howdy all, I'm looking for similar type folks that might want to join me for some fun gaming and maybe an opportunity to make some new friends. I don't see this as being a long term campaign style game but more like a weekly or every other week shorter adventure. We can do one shots or games that last a few sessions as we see fit. I have no issue being the DM but if we wanted to rotate that we could, and everyone could try their hand but we can play that by ear when we have to. I don't have an exact time but I am looking for weekday evenings for 3-4 hours starting at 5 or 6 pm pacific time. I am looking for folks more in my situation and age range so let me tell you about me...I'm in my forties, a professional with a busy and hectic full time job, and family commitments. It can be hard to find people on here that are in similar situations and want to play some games on our free time. So if you're in a similar situation let me know. Maybe you and your spouse/partner wanna play or something, we can make that work.  Let me know. I was thinking video and voice, or at least voice for this group so keep that in mind. I'm sure there are 4 or so middle aged folks with busy lives that would be interested in a little gaming.  PM me if you wanna chat more.
hey would you like to dm for some homebrew sessions? you can make a lot of friends here and I think you would have some fun, if you are interested feel free to add me on discord at MouseTrap#1992 and I will give you all the information
So things are starting to solidify... I thought I'd repost as an update just for everyone. Also, please excuse the misspelling on the title lol. Should say group. I'd like to lay out an idea for a gaming group, and hopefully find some friendly types to play with. I plan to DM (although we could take turns later if we want), so am mostly looking for players. Any level of experience is welcome. I've been playing RPG's for many years and on roll20 for a while as well so can help those new to the hobby. Here are a few specifics... 1. The game time is not set exactly, but after some conversations, it seems like we're settling on Thursday evenings around 5 or 6 pm pacific time, and you can expect sessions to last 3 hours or maybe a bit more. I don't see them going for more than 4 hours though. We can choose a set night or shift it around if that works once we get a group together. I think we should expect to play between 2-4 sessions per month. 2. We're playing D&D 5E. As a DM I try to stay pretty close to the core rules (since I own the PHB on roll20), so even though there's a lot of content out there I do hope to stay a bit more on the simple side. 3. I'm an older guy married guy (mid-40's) and have a busy hectic life, with a demanding job. I'm a professional type guy, and I'm hoping to find folks in a similar situation to play with. I'm hoping to find a way to put the stress of real-life aside for a while. Maybe even your spouse/partner would want to join. I'd like folks close to my age and in a similar place in their life to join. 4. I don't know what exactly we'll be playing, but I don't see it being a long term campaign. Instead, I'd think we would do some one-shots and some short adventures that last a few sessions. We can decide more about what we want, and if we want homemade adventures or modules later on. Shorter stuff with more options is what I see in my mind. 5. We'll use at least voice for this game, and maybe video if everyone's into it.  If this seems like it might appeal to you, or you'd be interested in chatting more send me a PM. Let's talk and see if we can connect and get a game going. Thanks
