[LFP][FREE][Pathfinder 1E][EST] Experienced GM looking for a weekly group, newbies and veterans welcome

Hey all, Caught the bug to play a long term tabletop after years away?  Just scooped from an old group for reasons and new something to fill your time?  Watched and listened to too many D&D things and want to get started in the hobby?  Welcome!  I'm looking for a group of reliable folks who are interested in a solid campaign. A Bit About Me I'm Kane, I'm 24, and I've been playing D&D and Pathfinder for around 12 years, GMed for 11, written fantasy since I was a kid.  I'm currently going to school next year for Cyber Security, and serving in the Army National Guard as a 12B.  I like to consider myself a happy guy, I love to teach my hobby to others, and I love to laugh. What To Expect The goal of the group is to have a handful of friends to go on adventures with on a weekly basis.  There is no concrete campaign set in place yet, as I want to get to know my group a bit and figure out what would be the most fun for all of us.  For certain the campaign will be set in Pathfinder's canon world of Golarion, but depending on the group it could be anywhere from an open sandbox game to a heavily railroaded adventure path, we shall see. What Is Expected Simply put, you just need to be reliable, kind, mature and understanding.  If something comes up in life, just give us a shout.  Don't be rude to the other players.  Have anything for your character sorted prior to game night, simple stuff like that.  All that being said, I will not tolerate anything racist, sexist, political, or just plain rude in my games, and I have absolutely zero issue booting anyone who wants to start that kind of stuff.  In the most layman of layman's terms, don't be a dick and you'll be a perfect fit. If you're interested in joining the group, kindly leave a reply here (I always forget to check PMs, but you can also leave a note there if that works better for you) with a copy-paste of the following form, just so I can skim and see what's what.  I'll personally respond to every person with either follow-up questions, or letting them know if they're in the group, group's full, etc etc.   Name: Age: Time Zone: Years Experience: A Bit About Yourself: What Makes You A Good Addition: Thanks much, have a great day!
Greetings Kane I'm Kiba, im looking for players and dms to run games within my west marches style campaign server on Discord. Its a post apocalyptic supernatural story using pathfinder 1e rules in a modern setting
Name: Kris Age: 19 Time Zone: CEST (Germany) but very flexible Years Experience: 2 Years D&D5e and a bit of Shadowrun4e A Bit About Yourself: Heya, I've loved fantasy settings of swords and magic since little and have always loved the concept of going on an adventure with a couple of friends to fight whatever it is that opposes us and rise as heroes in other people's eyes. I'm currently studying so I have quite a bit of free time hence why I'm looking to roleplay and socialize with other people. I'm currently looking for a bona fide Pathfinder game because I heard the system offers more than 5e and your game seems perfect to me, however it is good to know that I'm completely new to the Pathfinder system although I'm a somewhat fast learner. What Makes You A Good Addition: It's kinda weird pointing out good things about myself, but I'd say my devotion to my character and the standing of the group in the roleplay world. I always like making friends with the other players. I respect the privacy of other people both in character and out of character and I love having fun with everyone. As for a bad point I'd say that I sometimes get too invested in the world however a simple warning does the job for me most of the time :)
Name: Andi, though my typical online handle is Revelark (which usually gets shortened to Rev) Age: 26 Time Zone: EST. Extra info for scheduling: my schedule is a tad limiting between work and other commitments, but Mon/Wed/Thurs evenings and Sunday mornings/evenings will probably work for me. Years Experience: 2.5 years overall tabletop experience at this point, with a roughly balanced mix of 5e, Pathfinder 1e, and Pokemon Tabletop United. I've played more text-based RP than voice of late, but I've had experience with both. A Bit About Yourself: To me, tabletop is primarily a social experience. I'm in it to have fun with everyone, both players and DM, and if there's solid chemistry among the members of the group, I think pretty much any other issue can be solved if/when it comes up. While I like to joke around and chat with players OOC, I tend to keep my RP on the serious/immersive side and I appreciate a more structured plot. I'm fairly mechanically-minded and I enjoy a good mystery, though I think I'm pretty flexible in what I'd be interested in playing (both character- and campaign-wise). What Makes You A Good Addition: I think my strongest merit as a player is that I always consider the fun of the whole table first and foremost. I have my own preferences, of course, but playing in a campaign with others means you've gotta share the limelight, avoid stepping on toes, and generally just be considerate of others and be willing to compromise if it comes down to it. I've also had about a year and a half of experience as a DM with a single group to get this ingrained; the group's still together and is quite lively, and I'd like to think I've contributed to that. Aside from that, I tick all the boxes for reliability, maturity, etc... For full disclosure, I should probably add that I can be picky about who I play with. I try to approach groups with an open mind, but if there's an individual I really don't think I'll get along with over a long-term campaign, I'll probably talk to you about it in private and, in the worst case scenario, just ask to bow out of the campaign. But aside from that, I'm a pretty chill guy, and I hope there'll be a good fit here. Cheers!
Name: Dylan Age:28 Time Zone: MT  Years Experience: 6-7. almost exclusively in pathfinder 1e, and except for a handful of sessions behind the GM screen.  A Bit About Yourself: I'm a nurse and a student, with a tendency to pick up hobbies and run off to random parts of the world.   What Makes You A Good Addition: I'm a team player, and not just in combat.  I always set my character motivations as an almost incidental thought process (my last character I did get to play was a wizard smith who just wanted to make the worlds best swords, in an all melee group incidentally) and focus on making everyone else look better.  I'm having my most fun when the party barbarian uses all its buffs to destroy something way out of their league, or the guy trying to convince the world he is a god actually gets his cult started.   My greatest downside as a player: I've spent so long as an agent of chaos (GM for a chaotic group) that even what I consider straight forward thinking is a little chaotic.  Also grease as a preferred spell. edit: if discord is easier for you to contact me on I can be reached at drunken_monkey #1639

Name: Feathers Age:  27 Time Zone: Eastern. I am currently only available on Tuesdays, at any time before 10pm. Years Experience:  With Pathfinder, none. I started TTRPGs in Jan and have about 7 months experience with D&D 3.5. I have tried many other systems. I am currently trying out World of Darkness and would also like to try out Pathfinder. I was told it is similar to 3.5 and I learn fast, if you'd be willing to teach. A Bit About Yourself:  Though I'm kinda new-ish to TTRPGs, I am not new to roleplaying. I roleplayed as a teenager in forums. I am what people would call a bookworm. I enjoy stories with deep meaning, extraordinary worlds, elaborate character development. And I look for the same in TTRPGs. Heavy roleplay, intense stories and the chance at character development that bring the character to life. At the moment, I don't have much of a life, so I split my time between games, movies, my part-time job as a trail guide and my family. What Makes You A Good Addition:  I'd like to think I am a good roleplayer and I pride myself in having great sportsmanship. I'm easy going and open-minded... At least, I try to be! I immensely enjoy being creative and thinking outside the box. I believe in respect and taking turns. I don't do chatter, so you won't find me starting any derailment of the game. I am  a little shy, but I usually warm up by 3rd game. I'm a little more serious ingame and I think that's a good quality to have for something done over voice on the internet where social ques are harder to pick up. I'm not a downer though, hehe. I'm adaptable as well, and can play anything. I seem to play a lot of support characters and enjoy it, but I don't mind playing any class that the group requires.

Name: Zandra Age: 24 Time Zone: CST. I am available all day Sundays. On weekdays I am only available at or after 10 pm cst Years Experience: I have been playing ttrpgs for a little over 2 years. I started out with 5e. A friend introduced me to pathfinder and I have been hooked ever since then.   A Bit About Yourself: I am an artist and a huge nerd. I enjoy reading and playing video games. I am interested in storytelling and world building. The thing I like the most about tabletop games is the adventures you go on and the stories that are created while you play. I like the shared storytelling aspect of it the most. Some of my favorite moments are the hilarious shenanigans that occur when you play.  What Makes You A Good Addition: I  am a creative player who likes creating and developing characters as I play.    I also enjoy finding unconventional solutions to problems. It’s probably why I like playing spell caster so much. When I am playing I make sure I am not hogging the spotlight. It’s important that everyone gets their time to shine. I always want to learn more about the world we are playing in. I am a laid back open minded person who just wants to have fun and meet some cool people.
Name: Isador Age: 29 Time Zone: GMT+1 Years Experience: 10 years roleplaying, about half that in Pathfinder A Bit About Yourself: I'm a gamer with a fondness for fantasy settings, which is why I've never been able to get enough of Pathfinder, D&D or similar settings. I love roleplaying, being challenged and working with my party to really make a campaign our own! What Makes You A Good Addition: I'm fairly experienced, not just with Pathfinder but with roleplaying in general. I'm also highly adaptive and can fill pretty much any role in the party. My question: So as you can see, my timezone is GMT+1, which means I'm about 5 hours ahead of you. That's not a big problem depending on when exactly you want to run your games. If you're doing the campaign during your mornings/afternoons that works for me!
Name: Justin Age: 29 Time Zone: CST Years Experience: ~4-5 years 3.5, ~6 years Pathfinder 1e, ~3 years 5e, dabbled in Pathfinder 2e last year A Bit About Yourself: I started playing 3.5 in about 7th grade and have been playing some version of DnD since. I currently have a weekly group but its playing 5e which I do not enjoy as much as Pathfinder as I feel my character builds are less complex. I enjoy the number crunching of DnD and building a fun and interesting character. I do have two young daughters so would need to be afternoon games during the week sometime preferably. I also enjoy fantasy books and the outdoors whether that's hiking, kayaking, fishing, or hunting. What Makes You A Good Addition: I have extensive experience with Pathfinder and enjoy helping others learn the game. Although I generally like to build interesting characters I make a note to not overshadow others in the game and make sure everyone gets there moment.

Name: Miles  Age: 17 (Turning 18 Nov 22nd) Time Zone: EST Years Experience: 6 total (2 years of D&D 3.5 and 5e) (4 years of Pathfinder 1e) A Bit About Yourself: I'm on the younger end of the spectrum as far as applicants go it seems, but I've been playing D&D/Pathfinder now for six years. I am going through my senior year right now but with quarantine and distance learning I have an endless amount of free time spent crafting character stories and builds. Right now I'm really looking to play Curse of the Crimson Throne to play out a particular character I've made for the AP, but I am open to anything.  What Makes You A Good Addition: As a player, I get deeply invested in the setting and tend to change how my character interacts with the world and those around it as I learn more about the place. I also like working with the DM to make sure my character background is something that makes sense with the world they want to craft and the party as a whole.

Name: Tim Age: 46 Time Zone: Central Years Experience: 32 (I have played them all) A Bit About Yourself:  Obviously I have been playing RPGs most of my life.  I am a mature professional with a love of the RPG format. What Makes You A Good Addition:  I have played and DM'd in every edition of D&D since Basic (also Shadowrun, traveler, Star wars, Star trek...you name it I have probably tried it).  I have played 1 full Pathfinder AP and DM'd 2 others.  So lots of gaming experience. Having played and ran long term campaigns I know the importance of reliability, group dynamic and "reading the room"
Name: Dommy Age: 24 Years old Time Zone:  GMT+2, but I don't have a set sleep schedule Years Experience: Around 2 years A Bit About Yourself: I'm an artist that likes roleplaying, honestly that's about it lol What Makes You A Good Addition: I love to have a good time, and I wanna find games to play and meet new people
Name: Mary Age: 37 Time Zone: PST Years Experience: 20 years of experience in many systems, Pathfinder 1e, most editions of D&D, and a bunch of other systems. A Bit About Yourself: I love roleplaying games, playing or running, I love the interactive storytelling experience. I would love to pick up a game either Mondays or Wednesdays in the evening after work., What Makes You A Good Addition: I am an avid note taker, very experienced with roll20, and I'm an all around joy to play with or so I'm told.
Name:  Julian Age:  28 Years old Time Zone:  GMT-10 Years Experience:  ~10 Years.  A Bit About Yourself:  Got introduced to pen and paper roleplaying games during my first year in college and have been playing ever since. For the last few years I've been playing a whole lot less rpgs as I've been getting more into boardgames but with the pandemic and the on again off again stay at home orders I've been getting back into tabletop games. The last campaign I joined had the DM drop out after my 5th session so I'm hoping for a little more stability. What Makes You A Good Addition:  I feel like I'm a team player, I don't mind playing the cleric and I enjoy good roleplay.
