Completely New to Table Top

Hello, I am completely new to the world of tabletop RPGs. I am a mature PC gamer (35) that loves RPGs. I have toyed with the idea of tabletop RPGs for many years but never had the courage to join a group and ask for someone to teach me. I struggle with face to face social interaction, but am much better with online interactions, this is why the roll20 platform seems really interesting to me.
