Just putting the feelers out if 3-4 players want to do a weekly(ish) campaign. The best time for me would be Tuesdays anytime between 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM Central Daylight Time (I follow daylight saving time). My 2nd best day would be Thursdays at the same time. If neither gets enough interest, I could do Sundays, but it would be less often. I'm grabbing players on a "first come first served" basis. I might run some official modules within a homebrew world, just changing names. However, other parts would be completely my own. I plan on running it as a continuous, free, casual campaign. You would use the same characters every time unless you wanted me to write them out or your character died. I mostly use Adventurer's League rules (so characters would have to be compatible with it), but I do make a few changes. I would be fine with running a Session 0 if you want to talk about the party and game while creating characters and backstories. Just know that this would also be the first time I used Roll20 in conjunction with other people, and I don't know a lot of the ins and outs of the website. Some guidelines for character creation: * The amount of deities is staggering depending on the setting. I'll be mostly limiting it to those found in the 3rd Edition PHB for simplicity. If you want to worship another deity, that's probably fine. They'll usually be considered a minor one then. * Pick common languages if you have access to several. If something obscure comes up, I'll probably give you the benefit of the doubt to keep things moving. * Ignore coin weight. It's annoying and I find it unnecessary. * Keep track of your ammunition. If you run out, be honest. You can always buy or craft more very cheaply. * Tell me if you are crafting, casting light, casting detect magic, healing, and so on. If you don't tell me you are performing a specific action, I will assume you did not do it. * If something is not obvious from your race, class, and backstory, your character probably does not know it. For instance, if your character was a farmer, they may know what wolves are, but not bugbears. If you feel more comfortable messaging me directly, that's fine too. I want everyone to feel comfortable no matter how long they have been playing. I myself have not run a game in a while, and it has been even longer since I have played.
