[LFP][Free][D&D5e][GMT+1] Looking for players to depart on brand new adventure of Baldurs Gate: Descent into Avernus

Hello everyone.     I'm a quite new DM with few months of experience. The module is Baldurs Gate: Descent into Avernus.The game themes are Mature. From experiece I can tell that it's quite combat heavy at least the first time I ran it, but maybe with different approach, with new people the game is gona more roleplay focus. The game can be hard combat wise especially at beginning stages. The adventure starts at lvl 1 in the City of Blood. From players I would expect commitment for the duration of the game, where seasions are gona happend, I hope once a week for the duration of 3-4h. I myself live in GMT+1 zone and the game time is to be discussed when we get a group The characers you gona play, we will decide durning a session 0 when I will be able to talk to you more about the setting, and we will decide what is your groups dark secret...     To apply you can respond to this post or pm me with the usual stuff about yourself, your experince with 5e/roleplaying games and what you expect from the campaign and from the DM.     

Name : Nemus Age : 36 Timezone : GTM -4 (alot of free time, dont worry if is late for me, I go to bed late) Experience with DnD : I played dnd 3.5e, years ago when 3.5e was the current one, took a long hiatus so I skipped 4e. Came back this year and I have to say that 5E is the best version I ever play.   What kind of player would you describe yourself as? : I usually play support/(something) or (something)/support, I like to bond with the group and try to fill that narrative of friendship and conflict. Playing my character to be part of the storytelling and be tactician at combat. I like to make sure the actions of my character affect the growth. Describe what you enjoy most about Tabletop RPGS, or what you look forward to most when you p la y : I like the creation of backstory of the players and how the DM put that players with different backgrounds in difficult position, the conflicts arise, internal or external, but the group have to put together to solve it and growth from it. I also like the puzzle solving and combat creativity. How did your last game go? What was your favorite moment? : My last game was awesome, and m y favorite part was at the session 2 (3rd, because we had session 0), we where lvl 1. Our group (4 players) where in this tavern looking for someone that will help us sneak out of the city, when one of the costumers recognize one of us as a fugitive (backstory). I try to deceive the guy but fail, he walk our team mate out side and we follow at a distance. They where going into a group of 10 guards, at that moment I thought to myself, well maybe the DM want us to be arrested, because we cant fight that many. Well, one for the group had other idea, drop a smoke bomb and yell the guard to distract them. We all run on different directions, and manage to hide, The guards divide in 3 small groups. I went on top of a building to see what happen to the others. Two of my companions where hiding on buildings, the guard where getting closer to them, I throw rocks to an ally and manage to make them lost the trial. But one guard was close to my building on ally... We manage to regroup and trap that guard, interrogated him. I was doing persuasion (good cop) and the one who threw the smoke bomb was doing intimidation (bad cop). We manage to find out that the guy we were looking, was arrested the day before and we needed to do a jail break for him. At the end, one of the group slices the throat of the guard, 2 of us where in shock, but that setup the group dynamic. What you expect from the campaign : Fun Fun Fun! Discord : Intervaliant#8204

Hi I’m based in the uk so time zones are compatible for me. Played 5e quite a bit so I am familiar with the system. I tend to play combat orientated roles but I quite fancy playing a bard (and no I don’t intend on being the usual one dimensional “I try to seduce everything” type of player). I’d definitely be interested in joining.

Hello, I'm interested in joining. I live in the GMT so the time would be good for me. However it would have to be Friday night or anytime Saturday Sunday or Monday. All of my experience has been with 5e and I'm somewhat experienced. I have played with a few short campaigns. I'm a very relaxed player that's all about keeping things flowing and having fun. I'm 28 years old with a set work schedule so making a set meeting time shouldn't be an issue. I usually prefer martial characters but I'm open to anything. My expectations are to have fun with some role-play but also combat. I like when everyone can just accept the DMs word and not argue over what it says in the rulebook. Hello! Going on a journey through the first circle sounds like Hella fun! I live in Germany so CEST time zone and I'm free through the whole week + Sunday however Saturdays are busy for me. I've been playing D&D for about 2 years now. My characters tend to be towards the ambitious side, but as long as we get to talk it over I always manage to make up a character that fits both the story and party. Something starting for me 9pm+(5pm your time) is best and I'm usually up until 2 or 3 am (10PM-11PM for you) anyways. Day Restrictions: I have a wife and kids so I have days I can't do. Days I'm open are Monday, Wednesday, Friday (preferred), and Sunday (preferred) Experience: I've been playing 5e since it released, 4e... like, once. 3.5 and 3 for years, 2e when I was in highschool and even 1e for a bit.
