“Blessed hearts and brave investigators needed! Morthollow Manor is undeniably wicked, a blight upon our poor village. Most foul hauntings have been with us for generations and we live in constant fear of a curse upon our enterprise. Ghostly images, phantom noises, and foul miasma of death are costing the village it’s soul. Help us solve this dark and horrific mystery!” I’d like to entreat some generous guests to sit down with me in my deadly dungeon this coming Halloween. Let’s stay in and have a frightful night together, raising hairs and funds for good causes, as we uncover a mystery and solve the most terrible haunting. Suitable for all players, but only for heroes brave and wily. Something new for everyone is to be found, with hopefully a heap of laughter and excitement. Monstrous oddities and tricks are afoot in the seaside town of Hollowhill, will you be one of the fearless who answers their call? I will be looking for 4-6 players to fill each timeslot. The adventure is expected to last approximately 5 hours, with at least two breaks of 10-15 minutes. Voice chat will be either through Discord or Zoom based on each timeslot’s consensus. Times in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) Convert to your local timezone here October 30th: Session 1   1AM until 6AM - Session Closed Session 2  7AM until 12PM - Session Closed October 31st: Session 3 12AM until 5AM - Session Closed Session 4 6AM until 11AM - Session Closed Session 5 8PM until 1AM - 4/6 spaces available November 1st: Session 6 3AM until 8AM - Session Closed Session 7 5PM until 10PM - Session Closed November 2nd: Session 8 12AM until 5AM - 2/6 spaces available Session 9 3PM until 8PM - 2/6 spaces available Session 10 11PM until 4AM - Session Closed I require no payment from players for this game but I would like to ask that, when accepted into the game, they make a donation of $5 or more to one of the suggested charities below. I won’t attempt to summarise in a few sentences all the wonderful work these organisations perform everyday, but I urge everybody to research each cause before they decide to donate. Please note that Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Acumen Healing Waters International Medecins Sans Frontieres   Save the Children Please feel free to respond here with your interest or any questions, or message me in private if required.
Characters should be created using the standard methods in the PHB. (Copy+Paste [[4d6dl1]] | [[4d6dl1]] | [[4d6dl1]] | [[4d6dl1]] | [[4d6dl1]] | [[4d6dl1]] into the Roll20 chatbox to quickly generate ability scores) You may use material from the core books, or Unearthed Arcana, but please consider against using obscure and untested homebrew. The adventure will begin at 3rd level though players can expect to reach 4th level before the climax of the encounter, so please put some prior thought into your ASI or Feat selections. You may wish to prepare a secondary character for this adventure as the risk of character death will be quite high. A selection of pregens will be available for those who enjoy a surprise, or who lack the time or confidence to create their own character. Our heroes should be local legends, wandering mercenaries, or do-gooders and profiteers summoned from afar. They will be looking to prove their skills, debunk myths, or simply help the people rid their lives of darkness.
HI, i'd def be interested. I would be able to join games 2,4,5,7 and 9. As this is for charity are they any plans for the game to be streamed or broadcast in some way to raise money?
Players are welcome to join as many sessions as they wish. The storyline will be the same, but interactions and events will be very different. It is highly unlikely any two groups will reach a similar adventure conclusion as I hope I've packed it full of enough surprises! I currently have no interest in streaming or broadcasting game sessions at this time, no audio or video will be recorded though notes and proceedings from the session may be collected for posterity.
Hey there, I'd definitely be interested. Looks like I could play sessions 7 or 10. Happy with one, I don't want to hog, haha. I apologize but I have plenty of ideas for characters, especially with UA available. Happy to roll with any :) I'll probably post in my top choice too just in case. And I can provide more details about the characters if you need As far as character ideas I've been thinking a Human or half elf Fey Wanderer Ranger(UA), Leonin or Centaur Throwing weapon Fighter (UA fighting style) that's either a brute, scout (both UA) or possibly battle master if you think that'd work with throwing weapons, or a (halfling/dwarf respectively) giant/stone sorcerer (also both UA). Mostly because I have a ton of ideas and I don't see UA getting okay'd a lot (at least as far as games I browse go) or my lizardfolk barbarian (fascinated by smooth skins... He's a bit macabre). If we need healing/support focus I have an idea for Druid and Cleric too.
Hey, sounds like a lot of fun! Would you be cool if we used Standard Array or Point Buy to create Ability Scores?
Feel free to join as many sessions as you feel you can commit to, oneshots are a place to share fun ideas. Standard Array and Point Buy are valid options if you really don't like to gamble, but I question that lack of bravery in this scenario!
All right! I'd like to join session 7 if available. If not, session 9. I have a Druid Kobold named Mulvan and a human Arcane Trickster. They'll be up for the challenge! Horven, the AC, would be interested in the gold while Mulvan's motivation is to rid the darkness causing problems to the people! Mulvan is the circle of the shepherd if you may be wondering, but yeah! I cannot wait!
Sound good!
Not long left until session 1 begins. There is still room for upto 3 more players to take part in this session. Remaining spaces will hopefully be filled through pick-up listings 2 hours before the session. If you're still hoping to take part in one of these games then make sure to follow the link and join the session that suits you.

Two groups have now entered Morthollow Manor with a goal of ending the curse on the village of Hollowhill, and though brave and cunning they have all succumbed to the evil within its walls. Who will be amongst the next daring group to set foot inside? One player slot left on Session 3 taking place in approx. 7 hours, and many more slots available over the rest of the weekend. Join now if you want a chance to play!
Hello, I would love to join session 5 if you still have availability
I would like to sign up for session 8 tonight.
Session 8 still has several spaces available. Join up within the next few hours for a chance to play!

Thanks for the great game! It must have been a lot of work. I really enjoyed it and donated as such!
