Game Attendance: Are You Going To Be There?!

Like usual if I get off work early enough I will be joining

It's tomorrow morning. Sheila is in the party as I can see on the map. Cool. But what's Zhora doing? Is she dead? Seriously wounded? And ... and this is IMPORTANT ... do the Mongrel Men have a Shaman?

O, yeah. when you let me join I told you I would be a loyal player? have i fucked up yet? I'll be there ... I just need to not take any sleeping pills tonight and wake up at a proper time  <3 your game. monday mornings are a high point in my sad and lonely week

The module does not have a shaman for this group of mongrelmen, however I could whip one up of course!

well ... Zhora is offstage ... and probably w/ King Coal? She w/ want to lead the Mongrel Men to loot the weapons and gear we found w/ only Stirge resistance last game. BUT 1. She w/ want to take a main force 2. And she w/ like a Shaman We can do this here offstage? She w/ scout ahead w/ her Barbarian Powers to make sure the MMs do not get ambushed.  If there is an ambush up ahead, we w/ show them some meat that w/ run and lead them into our ambush. This is basic tactics from Romance of Three Kingdoms and as a Scythian, Zhora surely knows how to do it.  Before showing the enemy meat, Zhora w/ prepare traps and snares along our escape route. So we show trhem the meat and maybe they follow? If so, Zhora w/ use Short Composite Bow and not do melee. If the fight weirdly goes against us ... like maybe we are seriously outnumbered or there are enemy spellcasters, etc. we retreat along the prepared path. The snares and traps w/ not kill them all but w/ slow them down once they begin to realize that this path is booby trapped. So i am hopng we get back to the fortified position of the Mongrel Men Camp but the operation was a failure; If there is no resistance? the Mongrel Men Thieves and Rogues w/ be on point. We will loot the building. Now we have armoured Mongrel men w/ decent weapons! Some even have Hand Mirrors! Ew!

Plan B. Let's say we show the resistance meat but they are too smart to chase it? We advance and surround them. Kill at will! Let's say we are outnumbered 3;1 or more? We retire to the Mongrel Men Camp and double the watches on the walls.

I also note there are stairs down. We will not go down. But Zhora will nag Sheila and Lo Shan about it when she sees them.

As for Sheila? We are contacting the Tasloi. But it's a bad idea in her mind. What is our bargaining chip? why won't they just kill us on sight?  i guess they might have a Quest for us. But do we really need such a commitment at this stage? Who led me here? & why? Do they really think the Tasloi w/ fight under our leadership? That's not tobacco they are smoking

1 Bad idea to lay traps and snares along our escape route because we may need to move fast and cant be caught in our own traps 2 The party learned that the Tasloi want the Yuan Ti out of the city awhile ago, they probably cant do much fighting but could be good spies 3 I dont know about the others in the group, but for me, its better that we dont go with the Mongrelmen, they are probably better at being sneaky then many of us and then if they do get caught, We have Plausible Deniability "We dont know anything about it, We are not with them." and they know the city better then we do.

Tonight's game has now been called off, since only Devin and Roxxifarius could make it, tonight. Buddy was going to try to come in later after a prayer service. So, on that note, I hope to see you all next week as we resume adventuring in the Forbidden City, (whose real name you now know is Thracia!).

I changed my weekly meds run to Wednesdays GMT +8. So my Monday mornings are free for your game, Ricky, and that's why I changed the med run, even though it means waiting 2 hours on a hospital bench because Wednesdays seem to be a busy day for loonies of Taipei Your game starts 9.00am Monday mornings for me. So that's prime Chris timeslot. I'll always be in good form, unless I am back in the loony bin. And you'll always get a reason from me. In a Roll20 5e game I am running, "Alex" took up 6 precious hours of my day rolling up, then lied to me about the rules in Encounter#1, just so his PC could get some free hits in, then just never showed up again. No. There is no benefit of the doubt. But ain't that so typical? grrrrr!!!! I'm not Alex

My current work schedule has made it difficult for me to attend games on a regular schedule. (dealing with people on vacation and those out due to corona). If you need to kick me from the game to make room for someone else that is fine.

Cromth, you can stay, at least you let everyone know you are still around but can't make it and you play when in game. It's Brendan whom hasn't said a word since the November 1st game, Vyr Vandalous, who hasn't said a word since his first post on November 10th on the looking for players page and now Troy who last mentioned about finishing his character the day after his other game, which never happened and he's been quiet since.

I completely agree with Ricky Cromth, your work schedule may change even if its sometime next year allowing you to play in the game for a full session so just keep letting us know and make it if you can or when you can  working is important, gaming can wait until your schedule allows it
