Compendium does not work if I am a player in another game.

So I have noticed recently that compendium drops don't work in a game that i was playing for years. My GM does not have any books and does not share any compendium but I have all the books and I was able to update my character with spells and items from the compendium, seems like now I am unable to do that...

One of the more recent updates to compendiums and permissions is that the game creator can turn off access to compendium content on a book by book basis (or something like that).  It could be that the DM turned off everything because they didn't own it anyway, or maybe the compendium defaulted to that with the update since the game creator doesn't own that content.  You might have them check to see if they can re-enable those books for you. I don't play 5E or run any games with much in the way of compendium content, so I haven't looked at those settings myself.  Someone with more personal experience with this system will likely chime in at some point.

I just tested on a dummy account game. I am able to use all of my compendium assets in that game, even though the dummy account creator has no assets. You should be able to use your normal compendium purchases. There are two possibilities that spring to mind: 1 The GM has purposefully excluded certain compendium sources (you can do this, whether you own them or not). 2. A regular procedural error is at fault, such as a compendium-incompatible character sheet, or dragging to the sheet while it is popped out.
