Compendium spell list doesn't reduce by class

Despite asking the compendium to show me all the wizard spells or cleric spells, it only shows ALL spells. I know this has been asked before,  compendium-issue-class-spell-list-give-list-of-all-spells-instead , and that person was linked to a Wizard of the Coast forum to report it in.   wizards-of-the-coast-bug-report-megathread . The first question was almost a year old and is closed so I can't reply to that, the mega thread does not appear to have a reply option or add to option for me to post this again.  So I'll start a new thread and hope someone is able to get work on getting this bug fixed.  I don't have spell lists memorized so when I want to know if a wizard can cast a certain spell I look up wizard spells.  My players have called me out on this before which first drew my attention to it.   Now I double check the spell with D&D Beyond or my actual book if it is handy.  The problem still exists.  Please forward this to whomever can work on fixing this. It seems to me, this should be a priority to fix since it is an important feature of the compendium.  Here is my screenshot for today when looking for a wizard spell list.

I noticed this too when my Paladin had accidentally been using a spell that he shouldn't have because he assumed any spell in the filtered list were just Paladin ones. I now buy all the books on DnD Beyond, as the search system and links here are terrible and on top of that most books are considerably cheaper on Beyond.

Instead of searching that way, try filtering the actual spells in the compendium by clicking "Spells" and then selecting the "Filter" link right below the text box:
That does seem to work, thank you. I had not used that method before.  I assumed that if I typed "wizard spell" into the search that it would filter to the wizard spells.  Silly me, LOL.  But yeah, using the filter might actually be quicker since I can filter by level as well. So now I don't have to scroll through a mile long list to find what I'm looking for.   I do think they should still fix it.  Or at least call it what it is, all spells.  Then they can improve the column filter at the top to limit it to a specific class, level, school, etc...  Thanks again Elizabeth.
