Can't see Names in Nameplates with Firefox

it works in IE but not my FF... maybe I should have posted this to bugs? guess I'm just hoping for a workaround or a fix before bothering the devs. Firefox v26 and my popup blockers are turned off edit 1: I just realized I cannot see the text for the ruler either edit 2: Can't see GM notes either :(

I did try updating and it didn't fix the issue.... I went back to 26 on account of them changing their interface. I tried it with and without add-ons loaded (Firefox Safe Mode)

ok, here's something! I did a general search for Firefox not rendering fonts correctly, I found in the mozilla support area that I might try disabling hardware acceleration. well, it was already off, because there's another web site I had issues with quite some time ago and turning it off fixed it. some time ago, I don't even remember what website it was that gave me the issues. ANYhow. I turned it back on and I got my fonts to work :D yay! I should also mention that I tried turning it on and off in Chrome and it works there either way.... this might hopefully be of some use to you. and thanks! :)

Great news! Having hardware acceleration off might also have slowed down the way Roll20 functions for you, so there might be a performance boost as well.
