Is there any way in the dynamic lighting system to give different characters/tokens a different range of vision? As in, dwarves can see 10 feet further away or something to that effect?
Create a miscellaneous token ,(torch, orb, whatever suits your fancy) and give control of it only to that player. Set the extended vision on this token and have your player move it along with their own token. Since players only see light generated by tokens they control, only they would see it.
Infravision is awesome when you use a script and a "clear" aura. Anything that emits body heat (basically anything not undead) then use the tint to get it a red hue. I seen a buddy use it in his campaign, and it was pretty neat.
There are light sources… To be honest I was hoping for a way that the "dim" range could be used differently by different characters/tokens, but I don't think that's in the system? Is the dim range just cosmetic right now?
