Make token movement visible to other plays?

Is there a way to change a token/campaign so that movement/rotation can be see prior to letting go? Currently, other players do not see tokens being moved if the owner is clicking and dragging a token until they let go of it.

There is a page setting for "update on drop". Disabling that should do what you're looking for, though with heavy dynamic lighting and a big map it could lead to some performance issues. Wait, no it won't, and it's not available without Dynamic Lighting.

Sleepy, hello. The answer is technically "no" to exactly what you're asking, but I'll tell the workaround method that I ask my players to use. No, there's no method for others to see the movement of a token while it is "picked up" (by click-and-hold the mouse).  Also, as Oosh figured out, that suggestion involving "Update on Drop" is only relevant to dynamic lighting for that user alone, and doesn't resolve the requested problem. The only way to see their movement "active" and step-by-step is to have Grid enabled (the grid is ON), and ask-tell your Players to move their tokens using the ARROW KEYS on their keyboard , not drag-and-drop with mouse. Once your players get used it this, it's pretty nice, because some people might hover on the arrow keys and fidget back-and-forth during the game. It kind of makes their token look alive, and interactive, as far as who is standing next to whom. It's a more "discrete" form of movement (not discrete like secretive, but discrete meaning minute, small movements, individual steps, more detail of movement, not a huge long jump of a token in a perfectly straight line).
It would be a nice feature. I know maptools has the ability to do this as I've seen in Arcadum games, including rotating your token, and it's all very smooth.

If you want to show your planned move to other players, you can do it with the ruler. But showing the dragged token would be nice.

Another feature that might help is this: after  the player starts dragging their token, they press "q" at all or some of the squares/hexes along the movement path. This will create waypoints along the path that the token will follow during the move animation that should be visible to everyone. Be sure to start pressing q after the drag starts, or else you will trigger the measure tool. You can test what the other players will see by running a simultaneous dummy account in another window. Don't think this will work with rotation, though.
